Disney Dreamlight Valley: Blue & Orange Potato Side Quest Guide

Hidden quests in video games are often fun to stumble upon! Usually, developers leave these hidden quests somewhere and you’ll need to do it without any quest journal to guide you. Often times these can be tough to go through and sometimes they can be downright annoying to do!

In Disney Dreamlight Valley there’s an ongoing mystery on colored potatoes and potions from these potatoes. We still don’t know what they’re for, but I hope it’s worth it! Here’s how to do the Blue and Orange Potato hidden quest in the game!

Blue & Orange Potato Side Quest Guide | Disney Dreamlight Valley

Be ready because this hidden quest is tough and requires a lot of steps. You’ve probably already seen how small the scroll bar is! Now without wasting any more of your time let’s get onto how to get these Blue and Orange potatoes!

Blue Potion

So let’s start with the blue potato, which can be found in Ursula’s place just on the ground there. You can’t miss it since it’s a bright blue potato, it kind of stands out!

Then you’ll need to go to Moana’s Realm and go look for the island shown below. There’s actually an invisible maze that you can go through the water to reach that island. You’ll need to go right to go to the back of the island.

At the back you’ll get your next blue item, which is a Blue Shell, that’s another blue item down!

Now go to the Raft where you got Ariel and once, you’re on the beach where you found here look for the area shown below. That’s right it’s another water maze that you’ll need to go through.

Once you go through the water maze, you’ll then find another blue item which is the blue starfish.

The next blue item is at the bottom of the mysterious cave. Near the water you can find a path to the left where you can find a blue book.

The last blue item on the list is in the mines. Once you enter the mines head left, and then go right to go to a dead end where the tracks are broken. To the left is a place where a blue gem is.

Now that you have all the blue items look for the area shown below in the mines. You can interact with it and you can give it all the blue items. Once that’s done it’ll give you a blue potion.

Orange Potion

For this one you’ll need to level up Scrooge McDuck all the way until he gives you an item called Lenses of Shadow. You’ll then need to wear them to find the materials for the orange potion. Then you’ll need to open up all the realms except for the Lion King realm which you don’t need to. You’ll also need to open up Mickey’s secret room inside the castle.

First you’ll need to go to Remmy’s realm and look at the very back. There you can find the first Orange Pebble, which is very tiny and hard to see. Use the image above as reference.

Next is in Moana’s realm where one is next to the campfire.

The next one is along the beach next to some rocks.

Then the next one is at the base of a palm tree at the top of the hill.

The last one is right behind the realm entrance, these things are so small!

For the next pebble you’ll need to go to Wall-E’s realm and go next to the crafting table.

Go to the other side near a little tree and you’ll find another pebble.

The next pebble is in the Toy Story realm next to the red backpack.

Now go look for the closet and you’ll find the next one in a corner inside.

Then all away across the other side of the realm is another pebble next to the purple book.

The last orange pebble of this realm is next to the bed.

On to the next realm which is the Frozen realm and there behind the pillars is another pebble.

The next pebble is next to a bunch of dark stones in the forest.

For the last pebble it’s next to Gale on the ground.

Now let’s go to Mickey’s Secret room where there’s a pebble just next to the entrance.

Then across the room is another pebble next to the door.

Finally go through the door and next to some barrels is another pebble.

Now back to the castle and you’ll find a pebble next to this pillar shown above.

On the top floor you’ll find another one next to a potted tree.

Go to the first floor and next to the main door behind a pillar is the last pebble.

Now take a breath of fresh air because we now have all 20 pebbles! Now go and craft the Orange Potato with all 20 orange pebbles!

With the Orange Potato you’ll then need to go to the Functional Items tab and craft the Orange Potion with the Orange Potato and an Empty Vial!

Congratulations you now know how to get the blue and orange potato secret quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley. We still don’t know what these are for so let’s hope it’s all worth it in the end!
