The Brave the Storm quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley is the second quest in the long chain of quests for the Tales of Agrabah update. It automatically unlocks after a successful completion of the quest called The Ancient Revealed. Here, you’ll have to stop the Windcaller from wreaking havoc throughout Agrabah. This guide will show you how to do just that! Let’s get started.
Brave the Storm Quest Guide
After freeing Aladdin from the rooftops in Agrabah, you’ll want to talk to him to reveal the objectives of the quest. He’ll ask you to collect a pile of planks, a fine rope, and a timber stack by scavenging building materials.
Just in front of where Jasmine is standing, you’ll see a cluster of rocks with a pile of planks behind them. Use your pickaxe to break the rocks and gain access to the planks.
Then, make your way back to Aladdin to find clusters of rocks behind him. Break these rocks to clear the way to where the timber stack is.
Go back to where Jasmine is, then break the rocks behind her to reveal the fine rope. Return to where Aladdin is, and interact with the ledge right next to the barrel.
Place the materials you gathered to make a bridge, allowing you to make it to the rooftop on the other side. Cross the bridge, turn left, then break down the clusters blocking the way.
Once Aladdin has made it through, talk to him to reveal the next quest objective.
Head to the South Market
Using the knowledge you’ve learned, go left to where Aladdin is to find a gap where you can build another bridge. Not far from it are clusters of rocks with the aforementioned materials.
Make sure to pick up the plank to the right of Aladdin as well. You’ll be placing it on the gap nearby to cross it.
Once you’ve crossed the gap, there is another gap – this time, you’ll be building a bridge as before. Another bridge lies just next to this one. As always, you’ll find the same materials lying on the ground within the area.
After crossing the last bridge, turn left and destroy the structure blocking the way using your pickaxe.
This should then lower the structure to allow you to go down the South Market. Talk to Aladdin who’ll instruct you to use the Rose Water in your inventory. This then unlocks the next set of quest objectives.
Look for Materials to Repair the Stall
The next set of objectives is to look for materials necessary to repair the stall. These include 3 pieces of a sticky material, 3x Fine Ropes, 3x Timber Stack, and 3x Bolts of Silk.
After using the Rose Water in your inventory, equip your Watering Can and water the pile of rotten fruits in front of you. This should give you the sticky material you’ll need.
Do this to other piles of rotten fruits nearby.
You’ll find all of these materials nearby. For reference, you’ll find one Bolt of Silk right next to a dust devil not far from where Aladdin is.
Right where Aladdin is, you’ll find this huge locked door. Use your pickaxe to break the plank barring the door. This should then unlock the Central Market where you’ll find some of the required materials.
Once you’ve gathered all of the materials, talk to Aladdin to proceed to the next objective.
After that, he’ll then ask you to craft Stall Repair Kits. Simply interact with the Crafting station right next to him to craft 3x Stall Repair Kits.
Use these kits to repair the stalls lying around the area, as pictured above. Talk to Aladdin afterward to complete the quest.
Conclusion
Despite the quest requiring you to gather a lot of materials, the fact that all of them can be found lying nearby makes it pretty straightforward. Upon quest completion, you should then be able to unlock the next quest, Monkey Business.
