DreamSnaps event is a Disney Dreamlight Valley weekly challenge that changes every Wednesday. This is one of the best way to grind for Moonstones in the game which is on top of the weekly reward via voting method. But the feature isn’t available until further down the line by finishing a side quest to unlock it.

Complete Guide to DreamSnaps
The DreamSnaps is a weekly challenge that you can find under the Event tab. Hover to the DreamSnaps tab there and you can see the current requirements to score points for the week’s event. But the weekly challenge isn’t necessarily available to beginners who just started playing.
To unlock the DreamSnaps, you must start the side quest with Scrooge McDuck’s The Haunting of Dreamlight Valley. This will bring you to meet Vanellope who’ll ask you to take a picture outside the castle.
Then you’ll start the Faith, Trust and Pixel Dust quest. Here, you’ll be guided through how you can finish your first DreamSnaps challenge.
Head outside and place some decorations that has the playful and familiar properties on them. Additionally, it’ll be perfect if you can have Modern and Wrect-It Ralph theme as well. These are going to add to the points of your pictures which means higher voting numbers.
After you’re done, you’ll get 50 Pixel Dust and unlock the DreamSnaps Challenge that resets every Wednesday.
The requirements are different every time and can be either space decoration or dress up challenge. For example, last week’s was Elegant and Wondrous with additional Traditional and Lavish qualities.
You can always choose to not take part in the DreamSnaps, but this is a fun way to check out the community’s creations. On the first week of the challenge, everyone can submit their creations. The voting takes place on the second week. Right after the voting, rewards are sent to your mailbox.
You can sort your Wardrobe or Furniture for future challenges with the necessary Traits and Styles. After snapping a picture, it’ll also tell you if you’ve fulfilled the requirements to submit the Snaps.
The top 5 most voted creations will win up to 5500 Moonstones. Many more can win exclusive furniture and clothings, and trophies.
The voting happens after the submission week and you don’t want to miss out, too! You can win Moonstones by voting as well, so make sure to give your voice. The voting system will shove you two choices to pick from to ensure fairness.
