Disney Dreamlight Valley has a lot of content for the game after its initial release. With update after update, Disney Dreamlight Valley continues to improve itself. In the latest update, the game finally dives deeper into more story with The Remembering update. But along with cool new story content, you can also do some brand new quests that will surely keep you busy, like the Secret Potato quest that requires these different colored potions like the Green Potion. In this guide, I will show you how you can get the Green Potion for the Secret Potato quest.
Green Potion Full Guide
The first thing you need to do is to find 16 Emerald Bottles that are scattered all over the valley. These bottles are in the water, and they can only be obtained by fishing them out of the water. When you find them, stand near them and use your fishing rod and cast a line on top of them. You will know you’re doing it right when the circle is orange.
Here is a map with all of the locations marked for the Emerald Bottles. This is for the Glade of Trust, Peaceful Meadow, and Dazzle Beach.
And the next map is for the bottles in the Frosted Heights, Forest of Valor, Sunlit Plateau, and Forgotten Lands.
Now that you have all 16 of the Emerald Bottles, what you need to do next is to turn them into Emerald Slivers. This is easy, as all you need to do is just go to your inventory, select the bottles, and select use. This will automatically turn them in to Emerald Slivers. You will need all 16 of them for the next step.
With all 16 Emerald Slivers in your inventory, head to the nearest Crafting Station and go to Functional Items. You should see a new item to craft, which is the Jade Crystal. You will need all 16 Emerald Slivers, so use them all to craft this item.
With the Jade Crystal now in your possession, you will need to find the next item, which is the Green Potato. To do that, you will need to go to the Vitalys Mines in the Sunlit Plateau.
In the cave, go deep into the cave and look for the room with equipment inside. You should find a green orb there that’s sparkling. Interact with it to get the Green Seed, which is what you need to get the Green Potato.
However, you can’t plant this seed anywhere. This seed will only grow if you plant it in the Forgotten Lands. Head to the location, but make sure that it’s not raining or else you won’t get the Green Potato instantly.
Now that the seed has been planted, take out your Watering Can and use an elixir on it. With the elixir on, you can water the plant and it will immediately fully grow, allowing you to get the Green Potato immediately.
Now that we have the Green Potato and Jade Crystal, head to the nearest Crafting Station and craft the Crystalline Green Potion. All you will need is just one Empty Vial, along with the other materials. After that, you got yourself the Green Potion.
