The Monkey Business quest is the third quest you’ll get access to upon stepping inside the Aladdin Realm in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It automatically unlocks after completing the previous quest called Brave the Storm. That said, the quest involves collecting golden bananas, alongside other stuff. With that in mind, let’s look at how you complete this quest.
Monkey Business Quest Guide
After acquiring the strange amulet by completing the Brave the Storm quest, talk to Jasmine to reveal the objectives for the Monkey Business quest.
This time, you’ll be tasked with looking for Enchanted Gemstones. Simply head up the ramp behind where Jasmine was standing, then turn right to find a pile of crates with monkeys on top of them.
The path is blocked by piles of rotten fruits. Simply use your Watering Can on them to get rid of the blockade. Talk to the monkeys who will refuse to give you the gemstones.
Go talk to Aladdin who will then ask you to look for Golden Bananas to trade for the gemstones.
Look for Golden Bananas
Return to where the monkeys are, turn right, and use your pickaxe to destroy one of the rocks. Right behind them is one Golden Banana.
For the second Golden Banana, head to the Central Market then go all the way to the plaza. Right at the entrance, turn left to see clusters of rocks. Break them down to gain access to the second banana.
Head back to the Central Market and make your way to the exit. However, instead of going outside, turn right to see a ramp, then go all the way until you see another ramp leading right.
You should be able to see another cluster of rocks with the third Golden Banana behind them.
Give the Golden Bananas to the Monkeys
After collecting all the Golden Bananas, return to the monkeys and exchange them for the Gemstones.
Talk to Aladdin afterward and hand over the gemstones alongside the amulet. Finally, wear the protective amulet by equipping it via your inventory.
Doing so allows you to go through the sandstorm behind Aladdin safely. Lying on the ground is an Ancient Tome. Pick it up then give it to Aladdin to complete the quest!
Summing Things Up
As you can see, the Monkey Business quest is fairly short and straightforward. Completing this quest will then unlock the next quest in the Tales of Agrabah questline.
