Sometimes in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you get easy quests that can be done in a matter of minutes, and there are other times when you have to look for hidden areas that are really good at keeping a low profile.
That’s what you’ll be tackling in the first few minutes of the Seed of Memories quest given to you by Simba.
Getting the tree up and running is actually the easy part, but for now, let’s see what we can do to make the entire quest all the easier.

Seed Of Memories Quest Guide – Disney Dreamlight Valley
In this quest, you’ll look for the Herbalist’s Room inside the Sunlit Plateau’s mines. It’s pretty easy to spot as it’s right behind a waterfall.
Once you enter the mine stick to the right until you find an offshoot that’s blocked by sparkling rocks. Interact with the rocks to gain access to the room behind it.
Now that you’re in, all you have to do next is to interact with the cave paintings on the wall along with the chemistry set that’s sitting next to it.
After that, you can talk to Merlin and he’ll give you a grocery list of materials you need to gather to continue. To be specific, you’ll need: three Dream Shards, Night Shards, Orange Marsh milkweed, six Blueberries, and two Empty Vials.
You can find the Night Shards by digging for sparkling mounds using your Royal Shovel and feed animals their favorite food for Dream Shards if you happen to have a shortage of them. Blueberries can be found at the Forest of Valor, and Orange Marsh Milkweed at the Glade of Trust.
Now go to the beach and dig up some sand for your empty vials! If you’re lucky, Kristoff might be selling some if you’re not willing to do a little bit of walking.
Now go back to the crafting table to create the Potion of Dust and Growth, after that, you can return to the mines and place both potions in the empty spaces on the table inside the Herbalist’s room.
Upon placing both potions on the table you will get the Dreamlight Tree Seed that you need to give to Simba, follow him outside of the Sunlit Plateau to plant it. You’ll have to wait for a few days while watering until it’s fully grown, give it three just to be sure.
To finish the quest, go to where you planted the tree and listen to what Scar and Simba have to say!
