A new update has arrived, and it has brought Doors Floor 2! Along with the fresh experience and challenges that the patch offers, are new badges or achievements that you can acquire to showcase your Doors skills and knowledge. Two of the new badges you can unlock are called the “Trickshot” and “Helping Hand” badge/s, and in order to unlock them you’ll have to get access to The Mines, as well as play around the new critters called “Giggles”. You may not be aware of them yet, but with this guide, I’ll be sure to share you everything you need to know to acquire the two badges!

How To Get Trickshot & Helping Hand Badge and Achievement

In order to get the Trickshot and Helping Hand Badges in the Floor 2 Update of Doors, you’ll first need to have the “Rock Bottom (After HOTEL+) badge unlocked—which you can obtain by beating Floor 1 (The Hotel).

Keep in mind that the Trickshot & Helping Hand badges are only obtainable in Floor 2—getting Rock Bottom (After HOTEL+) badge unlocks Floor 2 (The Mines)!

Here’s how to Help A Hand & Get the “Helping Hand” Badge

First up, to get the Helping Hand badge, you’ll have to get rid of a Giggle that is attached to one of your mate’s face. You can do that by going near a teammate that is being attacked and press E (Interact button). However, there is a cooldown for doing this, so you won’t be able able to spam it and do it everytime.

NOTE: In case you don’t know what a “Giggle” is, it’s the headcrab (from Half Life series) looking critters that latch from the ceiling of The Mines—they fall and latch on a player’s head dealing damage!

Here’s how to Hooplah! and Get the “Trickshot” Badge

Up next, to get the Trickshot badge, you’ll have to use a Glowstick on a Giggle that hasn’t attacked a player yet. You can acquire Glowstick/s from all over the game; just keep opening chests or compartments! As mentioned on my “NOTE” above, you can find Giggles latching on the ceilings on the map of the game, waiting for a player to go under them.

Once you see an opportunistic Giggle waiting, simply use your Glowstick and throw it towards the critter. It’ll result with the Giggle getting “whacked!” and stunned—as well as rewarding you with the Hooplah! “Trickshot” badge.

Heads Up!

Yep, it’s that simple! But completely understandable since the game doesn’t really inform you in-detail how to acquire the Trickshot and Helping Hand badges in the Floor 2 Update of Doors. It might take you a while to find Critters, but just keep your heads up! If you have questions or concerns, feel free to leave them in the comments section below. I’ll try to get back to you as soon as I get the time (I get busy too sometimes, you know?).
