Collectibles in a game can be a hit or miss. Sometimes it’s worth it because you get more lore about the game’s world, or you get a reward at the end. Other times you spend hours trying to get all the collectibles and what you get isn’t worth the hassle.
In Dredge there are some messages that you can find in the game. These messages help you give more lore into this world. Sometimes it also just gives you more questions on the mysteries of the game. In this guide we’ll show you where to find all these messages in the game.
All 12 Message Locations In DREDGE
Most messages in Dredge are found through bottles floating at sea. Some of them however can be found in wrecks or in camp sites scattered around the world. Here are all the messages you can find in Dredge.
Message: 14th September 1927
The first one on the list is northeast of the Stellar Basin, just between the two islands. It’s relatively close to shore and it’s not that hard to spot.
Message: 6th, 7th March 1927
The second message on the list is to the northwest of Stellar Basin, near the port with the giant castle on it.
Message: Fisherman’s Note
The next message isn’t in a bottle but on a wreckage. On the island between Gale Cliffs and The Marrows can be found a wreckage of a ship. Interact with it and select all the dialogue choices until you get the message.
Message: Artifact Manifest
The next message is in the Gale Cliffs, to the northwest. It’s in the middle of a big ocean clearing near the 3 dock points.
Message: 9th September 1927
Next is to the south of the Gale Cliffs and this time it’s near some of the cliffs. Make sure not to hit the cliffs or you’ll get damaged!
Message: 21st August 1927
The next message can be found in the Marrows to the southeast. Near the rocks and the south of Little Marrow is a bottle with the message.
Message: 20th August 1927
Going to the northwest of the Marrows is another message in a bottle floating near some rocks.
Message: Tattered Receipt
Twisted Strand is the next place to look for messages and this time it’s in the middle. Remember to bring some packed Explosives so you can clear the way.
Message: ???
This next message is to the northeast of the previous message. It can be found where there’s mushrooms and mangrove trees.
Message: 1st June 1927
Off to the Devil’s Spine for this one. You’ll need to go to the middle of the islands where you can find another message in a bottle.
Message: Ragged Note
To the south of Devil’s Spine is your next destination, there you can dock on one of the islands. On that island is a camp site, use all the dialogue options to get the message.
Message: ???
The last one is on the southern parts of Devil’s Spine. This can be found near some ruins.
