You know, gathering resources that slowly deplete over time can be quite worrying, especially in games like Dredge where you have to be constantly on the lookout for them every time you set sail.

You’ll never know when it’ll be a matter of life and death the next time you’re caught short on a specific resource, but what if we told you that there’s a way around this where you don’t even need to open a third-party application?

In this guide, you’ll learn how to gather an infinite amount of upgrade materials through the use of game exploits!

Hey, it’s left in the game and it’s already a full release so there’s no need to make a public apology about it!

Infinite Upgrade Materials Glitch Guide | Lumber, Metal Parts & Cloth | Dredge

Upgrading your boat will require a lot of lumber and other materials, this will increase your chances of survival if you’re ever caught out at sea past your bedtime.

That’s your primary concern whenever you’re searching for materials as the depths really aren’t that forgiving, especially if you don’t have the ability to breathe underwater.

Early on in the game, you’ll receive a quest where you have to deliver a few materials to Steel Point. Go around the dock and find little air bubbles on the surface to get either lumber, metal, or cloth.

The problem is, after you get all this stuff it’ll be gone for good until you wait for a few in-game days to pass.

Obviously, this is a no bueno since you need those materials fast.

Before doing all of this make sure you have Dredging unlocked, a wee bit of progressing through the game will be required. You can get this ability from Blackstone Isle if you haven’t yet.

Once you’ve gathered all the materials nearby go back to the dock and unload whatever you got into your storage bin.

After that, you’re going to save and quit the game, load your game back, and go back to the spots you just used the dredge on. You’ll notice this time that they’re back and have the same amount of resources you took earlier.

The sea giveth, the sea taketh it seems.

You can try this and make use of this feature in other places depending on the resource you want, but most players found a decent amount of success by sailing around Steel Point since all of the materials they’re looking for can be found here!

Now get some for yourself, and don’t forget to tell your friends you got these items legitimately!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
