Dune Awakening features a variety of quests that you can complete to strengthen your ties with various factions. Completing contracts also gives you rewards and money that you need to progress. Every single cent counts because survival can be quite difficult on Arrakis. One such contract is the Price of Betrayal, which can seem a bit buggy at times. As a result, many players are unable to complete it – especially the part where you need to analyze blood. In this guide, we’ll show you how to do it. Let’s dive in!

How to Analyze the Blood at the Console

After clearing out the deserters at the Deserter Outpost in the Hagga Rift, you’ll need to analyze blood at the console. To do this, simply head down the large spiral staircase.

Stairs Dune Awakening

You need to keep going down until you come across a wall with consoles on it. Over here, you want to interact with the console indicated below.

For some reason, when you go near it, the icon will not immediately pop up. You will need to stop moving entirely and wait a bit near it for the option to actually come up. We recommend that you change your position a bit until the interaction is there.

In our case, moving a bit away from the actual console allowed the option to come up.

From here, simply interact with the console and you’ll have completed the objective. Now, you’ll be able to easily progress with the rest of the quest.

Console Dune Awakening

That’s everything you need to know about how to analyze blood in Dune Awakening. From here, all you need to do is simply report back to Anton Tolliver and you’ll have successfully completed the contract. However, it can be a bit confusing to actually get out of the Hagga Rift here, especially when you went ahead to explore. Check out our how to get out of hagga rift guide if you’re struggling with this part!
