Elden Ring: All TWINBLADES Ranked | Tier List

Because I heard you like swords with your swords, so I made an article about swords with swords

As a writer, you always feel a little bit of dread when you see the words β€œAll” attached to a tier list. Thankfully, Elden Ring only has six twin blades for me to rank, making this task much more manageable. Twin blades are an exciting weapon with flourishes that let you hit many enemies at once, but require a high level of expertise to use without getting killed by enemies. If you are ready to take on the path of the Twin Swords, here’s my recommendation for which of the six you should practice with.

Tier List for All Twinblades Ranked in Elden Ring

6/6: The Gargoyle’s Black Blades

You know your not doing very well on a ranking when you are, in fact, worse than the base form of a weapon. The Black Blades are in fact a trap to lure unsuspecting players in with it’s high base damage. But even upgraded fully, it’s damage is mediocre, and much of it is holy which is commonly resisted, especially late in the game. Don’t waste your time with the black blades, and spend your time on more worthy steel.

5/6: The TwinBlade

The basic model. Importantly, a basic model you can get relatively early in the game. The Twinblade can be located in the hidden chest in the Dragon-Burnt Ruins. Otherwise, your going to be waiting until altus plateau or so to find another one. You want to spend your adventure practicing the dual blade, your going to spend most of it on the same model. The base twin blade will also accept upgrades well, sticking around for longer than you might expect.

4/6: Twinned Knight Swords

It’s the twinblades bigger brother who got better grades. It just is a simple up grade to everything the twinblade is. If you like the base twinblade, and want more of that, you’re going to want to use the twinned Knight Swords.

3/6: Gargoyle’s Twinblade

If you’re a strength build, then the Gargoyle’s Twinblade is going to output the most damage in a sheer β€œBigger Number Better β€œ contests, and it’s a good one. But it’s short. On a already deceptively short weapon. Elden ring is already a game that makes me very nervous getting up close and personal to enemies, forcing me to have an even tinier reach than I already have is not great and knocks some points off it’s ranking.

2/6: Godskin Peeler

In what may be in my running for β€œTop five most metal weapon names” list, this wicked hook has a built in skill, and I always advocate for free built in skills. Black flame is a impressive debuff that deals a percentage of your enemies health for a time. The Godskin Peeler rips open a firey tornado of black flame, and as anyone who knows what fromsoft bosses are like knows, β€œPercentage of maximum health” is a beautiful sentence when facing down the miles long road of their health bars.

1/6 Elenora’s Poleblade

None of these are technically rated on cosmetic attributes, but if they where Eleonora’s Poleblade’s slick red and black look of blod and fire and ash is to swoon for. Thankfully I don’t have to justify my edgy aesthetic choices, because the poleblade is easily the best, split between physical and fire damage, and a innate bleed setup!s Also, the super flashy move Bloodblade Dance is just absolutely amazing and super cool to watch happen and watch completely destroy an enemy.
