On one hand, it has a lot of power in it that’s enough to trivialize almost any boss in the game. On the other hand, people call it an easy way out of things and don’t really challenge the player. Elding Ring Endgame | BEST 3 Intelligence Builds
There are many builds out there in Elden Ring, and with enough skill, you can even use suboptimal builds just as long as you know what you’re doing. In this guide we’ll show you 3 Intelligence builds for Elden Ring and what equipment, spells, and ashes of war you need to equip.
The Frost Mage
Weapon: Dark Moon Greatsword +9
Requires: 16 STR, 11 DEX, 38 INT
Spells:
- Andula’s Moonblade
- Zamor Ice Storm
- Glintstone Icecrag
- Greatblade Phalanx
Equipment: Snow Witch Hat
Stats: At least 60 INT and then move on to MND, VIG, END. Don’t forget some STR and DEX for the Greatsword!
This build’s main element is frost, if you haven’t figured it out already. The main thing you want to trigger is frostbite on your enemy. Almost all spells listed above except the Greatblade phalanx do frostbite damage, including the Dark moon Greatsword’s skill called “Moonlight Greatsword.” All of this frost damage is augmented by the Snow Witch Hat which is also a fashionable hat. Who doesn’t like oversized witch hats?
The Sorcerer
Weapon: Carian Regal Scepter +10 or any Scepter you like
Spells:
- Terra Magicka
- Great Glintstone Shard
- Rock Sling
- Loretta’s Greatbow/Mastery
- Comet Azur
Equipment: Queen’s Crescent Crown and Jellyfish Shield
Stats: 60+ INT then move to MND, VIG, END.
If you don’t like melee and want to go with only spells, this is the build for you. All you need to get is your favorite staff, the Jellyfish Shield and Terra Magicka along with a few other spells. The shield’s Art of War boosts damage for 30 seconds, combined with Terra Magicka and you can dish out a lot of damage with your spells! The only downside of this build is the Queen’s Crescent Crown, it boosts intelligence but it looks ugly.
The Moonveil Samurai
Weapon: Moonveil and any Scepter you like
Spells:
- Greatblade Phalanx
- Any spell you like
Stats: 60+ INT, DEX. Then move to MND, VIG, END.
Equipment: Carian Filigreed Crest, Magic Scorpion Charm, Shard of Alexander, Green Turtle TalismanNothing like a Melee mage to mix things up. The Moonveil Samurai build focuses on the Moonveil Katana and its skill Transient Moonlight which shoots out a magical slash to your enemies. Coupled with the Greatblade Phalanx and you can do a lot of stagger damage. All the Talismans in the list help mainly with the Moonveil like lowering FP cost, increasing skill damage and so on.
