In Enshrouded, you play the role of a Flameborn trying to survive in a world terrorized by a corrupting fog. There are various bosses to fight in this cooperative survival game, and in it, you also construct and craft all sorts of gear and structures. With that in mind, one of the resources you’re going to need is shroud liquid. So, how do you get some?

Where to Find Shroud Liquid

It is relatively easy to find and loot shroud liquid, as it is scattered all throughout enshrouded areas in the game.

In the demo version, you will easily find such an area close to where you are tasked with building your base.

Since the map is not procedurally generated like in most survival games, you shouldn’t have a hard time finding this as the game points you toward this spot right from the start.

From the base area, you should be able to find an enshrouded area right below the cliff. If you’re having trouble finding the way down, just run northwest until you come across a bridge.

From the bridge, just follow the path going downwards through the wooden archway. It’s pretty straightforward, and you’ll be warned before you reach the fog.

Simply loot the various giant white bulbs scattered everywhere to get shroud liquid. Each bulb should give you around 2 pieces each. Watch out for any enemies nearby!

You should also take note that when you venture into enshrouded areas, you can only stay there for a limited amount time as indicated by the bar on the top of the screen.

To replenish your time remaining within the enshrouded area, you will have to find and use an hourglass capsule.

According to its description, shroud liquid is used for varying alchemical purposes. Among its earlier uses is for Ice Bolt staff charges, which requires 1 water and 5 shroud liquid per piece.
