Blue Protocol has been in the making for over 3 years now and its fanbase has been wondering how the progress is at the stand of the new 2023. Well, in this article you will find out everything that you need to know about Blue Protocol so far. Let’s get started and give you an overview of just how much waiting there is to be done until the release date.

Blue Protocol – Everything We Know About

  • Release – 2023
  • Available on – PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X|S
  • Possible Crossplay (Not Confirmed)

Blue Protocol will be released globally in 2023! That is the biggest news that we have gotten in the recent period from the developers and we are definitely thrilled about it. With that information, a lot of new fans have been joining too, but there’s a lot of new information to catch up on too.

Blue Protocol is an MMORPG that will let you create your own character with a certain class and venture into a beautiful-looking wide world. You will be completing quests, and dungeons, leveling up, getting new gear, upgrading, and becoming stronger and stronger.

Some of the areas that we have seen in the game can hold up to 200 simultaneous online players at the very same time which speaks volumes of just how many things this game can actually be able to do. The game has a big PvE focus but will have PvP as well.

Price

Blue Protocol will be a freetoplay MMORPG that will require no monthly subscriptions whatsoever. It will feature a system of microtransactions just like any other F2P game out there.

There will be 2 Battle Pass Levels to give you extra rewards and a lot of currencies that might make this look like a Gacha Game straight out of your phone. But the devs have said that it will be only tied to cosmetics. Let’s hope it will be true!

There is a slight danger of a Pay to Win system with the tickets that one can purchase. These tickets will provide extra rewards every time you clear a dungeon. You’ll get 3 of them for free per day, but for more, you’ll need to pay. There is also the gear to be bought that straight up improved your gear and makes you stronger just by spending a couple of bucks in real life!

Character Creation

The character progression is just as you would expect just with slightly deeper mechanics of it like the customization of the teeth for example. There are sliders to further play around with smaller face details like eyebrows, or nose hole openings and such. Everything has its own separate color customization as well.

You can do these changes ingame as well throughout the game by visiting the many shops that it will have. You will also be able to customize and play around with the colors of your gear!

Classes

There are a total of 5 classes that you are able to choose from in Blue Protocol that we know of so far:

  • Aeris Fighter – tanker master of sword and shield
  • Twin Striker – melee DPS fast attacking dual wielding
  • Blast Archer – long-distance support class with strong AoE attacks
  • Spell Caster – mage character that can do singular and strong AoE DPS attacks
  • Heavy Smaher – slow character but high damage dealer

All of these classes will play out differently and all of them will be needed to successfully take down the many big bosses that Blue Protocol will have.

Combat

The combat is fastpaced and will require you to move around quite a bit when fighting either enemy mobs or players. Every character is able to jump and has a certain stamina type of bar that will deplete when using energy. You can also sprint and do dodge rolls.

There will be a lot of area attacks where the environment around you will be your enemy as well so mobility is a high factor in Blue Protocol’s combat. There will be a typical HP bar for your health and a typical hot bar with around 10 skills active to be cast at times.

There is a huge talent tree that you can use to upgrade your skills and power up your skills. There are different stats that make certain classes more powerful as well as different gear sets and enchantments to be added. The elemental build-up is also very important to know since all mobs will be different throughout the world.

Activities

Being a huge open-world MMORPG means that you will have a lot of activities able for you to do too. Here are some of them that you can choose to invest your free time in:

  • Fishing
  • Camping
  • Cooking
  • Photo Mode
  • Crafting

Each of these will offer you some unique items that will help you out throughout the game’s world and challenges.

That is all that you need to know about Blue Protocol so far. Even as it is right now the game is looking very cool with a lot of fun content. If there is anything new in the future Itemlevel will be the first to update you so stay tuned for that!
