Evil Dead: The Game is a survival horror co-op game set in the Evil Dead universe. Think of Dead By Daylight, but instead of running and hiding from the killers, you are actively fighting the monsters that are trying to kill you. The game gives you a fighting chance that most games won’t. In the game, you can build your characters to help them survive situations in the game that will get them killed. In this Cheryl Survivor guide, we’ll show you how to build Cheryl.

Cheryl Survivor Build Guide – Evil Dead The Game

This build is primarily for solo play, but you can still use it for multiplayer matches. This Cheryl build will focus on support gameplay, primarily as a healer. Using Cheryl means you have to carry your team as the match progresses, as you are the backbone of the team. Their survival depends on how well you play and build Cheryl.

The skills you need to play Cheryl will require you to keep yourself and your team alive. Shemp’s Plus will restore more of your health than normal. Make sure to upgrade this to the max in order to get the full efficiency of the skill.

As Cheryl, the demons will focus on you as they know you are the support for the team. They know that taking down the support means the survivors will be crippled and taking them down will be easy. With that, you will need the Artful Dodger in order to reduce the stamina cost of dodging, which you will be doing a lot of.

The next skill you need to get is Tougher Than Hell. Bear in mind that there are two skills prior to this one that you need to get before activating Tougher Than Hell. Just put one skill point in those skills to unlock and move on to fully upgrading Tougher Than Hell, which is great for Cheryl because it reduces the damage you take when attacked.

When your teammates are downed, you will have to rush over and revive them. Having the First Aid skill will drastically help the situation for your teammate as a percentage of their health will recover after reviving. The more upgraded the skill is, the more health is restored.

Having a bunch of Shemp’s is important for Cheryl. With Deep Pockets: Shemp’s Cola, you can carry more. The idea is to have as many Shemp’s as you can in order to not die from the demons and stay alive to help your team.

Like before, having Shemp’s is crucial for Cheryl. It’s not enough to just carry more Shemp’s, you have to start with Shemp’s. Packing Pop allows Cheryl to start with extra Shemp’s depending on how upgraded the skill is. It’s important to have this just in case your team hordes Shemp’s, leaving none for you. With Packing Pop, you won’t have to worry about that.

Last important skill is Industrial Strength. This bad boy increases your maximum health depending on how upgraded the skill is. Pretty self-explanatory.

There are other skills you can get if you want, like Fear No Evil and Long Life Batteries, but focus on getting and upgrading the important skills first before anything else.
