Exoprimal: All Universal Modules Explained

Everything you need to know about Modules.

Exoprimal is a brand-new shooter game that has you working with other players to combat dinosaur hordes that are endangering humanity. Characters employ weaponized exoskeletons called Exosuits in battle. Exosuits can be modified with rigs and modules that enhance your gameplay. You can form balanced parties with other players by creating various builds. If, on the other hand, you’re having difficulties figuring out which module is useful for what, you have come to the perfect place. In this guide, we will explain all universal modules in Exoprimal.

All Universal Modules Explained

Modules are special upgrade resources in Exoprimal that can be used to modify your exosuits. As you progress through the game and fulfill tasks, modules will become available. In the exosuit modification screen of the menu, each module can be attached to your tank, assault, or support exosuits. Additionally, you can buy various modules with Bikcoins, the in-game currency that you earn by completing tasks. There are 10 Universal Modules you can unlock and use in the game, and we will explain all of them.

Exoprimal All Universal Modules Explained

Crisis Module

The Crisis Module increases your movement when your health drops below a certain percentage. It goes up to 60% as you level up the module. Even though the game does not specify how much your speed movement is upgraded through this module, it seems that it is around 20%.

Impact Reduction Module

The Impact Reduction Module reduces the damage from dinosaur attacks by 5% and moderately reduces knockback from dinosaur attacks. This module is a good choice for beginner players. However, even though the knockback reduction might seem like a nice idea, it might be annoying for some players as it actually might be necessary in some cases.

Recovery Module

The Recovery Module recovers 50 health. However, it is not as good as it sounds. In Exoprimal, the characters do not regenerate health by default after some time. That means the players stay damaged if they get damaged unless they have a special character. The Recovery Module gives the players a health regeneration for their character. It only recovers 50 health for you, but you have to not get any hits for 8 seconds.

Hi-Xol Compression Module

The Hi-Xol Compression Module greatly increases the change rate of the Overdrive Gauge. This module is one of the best ones you can get, it increases the rate you generate your overdrive by 30%. Thus, it is definitely a module that will enhance your gameplay if you choose to use it.

Durability Module

The Durability Module increases your health by 50. It is similar to Recovery Module, but the good part of this one is that it gives you 50 health immediately without having to wait for anything. So, it might be a good one to pick if you are having trouble keeping your character alive.

Crafter’s Module

The Crafter’s Module increases craft durability by 200 and grants an 80% chance to reacquire craft chips when a craft is destroyed. This is one of the best modules if you already like placing walls and platforms while playing the game. The ability to place down crafts might be a game changer for you as it offers a lot of benefits to the players. However, the problem with this module is that you do not actually know which crafts you are going to get.

System Repair Module

The System Repair Module greatly reduces the durability of jamming, burning, freezing, and paralyzing debuffs applied to you. The reduction is around 30%. Even though you might always need this module, it is actually the best module to have in the game.

Regeneration Module

The Regeneration Module reduces the start time for automatic health regeneration by 2.5 seconds. It basically shortens the regeneration time by a small amount of time. It only offers a very small boost and is not very needed if you are not playing as Nimbus or Skywave.

Reload Efficiency Module

The Reload Efficiency Module reduces reload and recharge time by 20% as you update it to level 5. This module is very useful for characters who have more recharge and reload times. It gives you a great DPS boost if you have a character that needs to reload their guns a lot.

Rig Loading Module

The Rig Loading Module reduces rig skill cooldown time by 30%. This module might be underrated as the rigs are not used by people much, but it is actually a very good one if you want to use it. The cooldown reduction might be a game-changer for you and keep you alive at the right moment.
