Setting in F1 22 is imperative for winning. Setting is a big deal because it affects the comfort of your playing which in turn, affects your performance. Jarno Opmeer has laid out all for us in terms of which setting is the best. You can absolutely learn a thing or two from his settings and tweak them accordingly as your own. Let’s see what he has to say about the best settings!
Jarno Opmeer Settings – F1 22
Huge shoutout to Jarno Opmeer for sharing his personal settings that actually won him F1 Esports championship.
Assist Settings:
No assists at all, turns everything off. But this is actually up to your personal choice
On-screen Display Settings:
He turns the Cockpit View on for some additional information during the race. Permanent Session Timer turned on for planning ahead.
Control Settings:
Jarno Opmeer uses Fana X Heus steering wheel and pedal. So, this actually depends on what controller you are using, but this is his setup on Vibration & Force Feedback. Maximum Wheel Rotation is important, the lower the settings the more responsive the car gets. For calibration setting, everything is set to zero.
Graphic Settings:
This is an important setting since it can affect your performance heavily. Jarno suggests to lower all your setting if you experience stutter during the gameplay or if your PC is not the best to run on high. Always make sure to turn off all the Ray Tracing settings.
In video mode, this is his setting. But of course, this actually depends on your PC setup whether it supports 2K resolution and other settings.
Audio Settings:
For audio settings, everything is put to default but the Master Volume so you don’t get easily distracted. He tweaks his Master Volume to 0-3 and Audio Simulation Quality to Ultra Low to avoid audio latency which affects performance.
Camera Customisation:
You might want to tweak your field of view according to your PC performance, the lower the setting the better your FPS will be. Turn off Camera Shake and Movement because these will only create distractions and are not very realistic.
Hope this setting helps! Make sure to visit Jarno Opmeer videos for more details about his settings and more.
