Daily quests in Fallout 76 and in any other MMORPGs have always been a staple of the genre for a long time. It’s an incentive that players can get for just logging in and putting in some effort to get an easy reward each day. Some players love these quests and often make time to them every day to maximize their gain in the game. Other players absolutely despise this since it’s just repeatable missions that are boring and usually waste time. Whatever your stance is, this Mutual Aid guide will help you finish one of these daily quests in Fallout 76.

Mutual Aid Guide in Fallout 76

Fallout 76 has come out with a new update and thus they have a new reason to make players do daily quests. This time you can start expeditions out of Appalachia to travel to the Pitt. In fact, that’s the name of the new update, and The Pitt is one of the previous locations you can go to in Fallout 3, so for the fans of that DLC you can experience that place again in a different time. To access the Pitt though you’ll first need to do some errands to actually start an Expedition.

One of these errands is the Mutual Aid Daily quest which you’ll need to finish to charge up that Ultracite Battery to start the expedition. The mission is simple, you’ll need to go the NPC Sophie Wagoner in Whitespring and start the quest.

The quest has you collect a certain amount of steel scrap. This is one of the most common scraps you can find in the game. So I wonder why she’s having so much trouble finding it. You can easily get steel scrap from scavenging anything vaguely metallic in the world. The best way to get steel scrap though is through scraping weapons.

When you fight enemies in the game, usually they drop their guns when you defeat them. These guns can then be carried to a crafting bench to be scrapped, and usually guns can give you steel scrap. This is by far the best way to get steel since you also get a lot of other things while doing this, like XP.

Once you have all of the scrap, go back to Sophie and turn them in. She’ll give you some rewards and you can continue doing the other daily quests for the expedition!

Congratulations you now know how to do the Mutual Aid daily quest in Fallout 76. Now go out there and start scrapping! Many thanks to Game Guides Channel for showing everyone how the quest works.
