Trading was a big part of surviving back in the day. Traders would travel places to collect goods, then travel to different places to sell said goods and earn new ones. It was how most villagers start new farms and such, as traders would bring seeds or other resources that the land did not provide. In Farthest Frontier, that’s exactly how it works. You would only get valuable resources if you use the trading post to get new items and such. To learn more on how to use it, follow this guide on how to use the trading post.
How To Use The Trading Post – Farthest Frontier
The Trading Post can only be useful when a trader comes into your village and offers you goods. You can check what the trader has to offer and use Gold to buy it off them. Make sure to transfer Gold from your Global Storage to the Trading Post, as the Gold needs to be in the Trading Post to purchase anything.
Once you do have the Gold in the Trading Post, select any item you want and a pop up will come in. You will have to move the slider to the left in order to get the amount you want. Sliding it to the left will also increase the amount of Gold you will spend. If you are satisfied with the number of items you want, just click on either Buy & Stock or Buy & Transfer.
Buy & Stock means you purchase it but leave the items in the Trading Post. Buy & Transfer means you buy the items and immediately transfer them to where you want them. It’s entirely up to you to do what you want, but I recommend using Buy & Stock, as you can sort out your purchases later once you’re done.
To sell goods, it’s basically the same thing. Click on the goods you want to sell to the trader and a pop up will appear. Choose how many items you want to sell and voila, you have sold your goods for more gold.
Be quick though, as the trader only comes in once a year and will stay for about a month or two. But with how fast the in-game time works, two months will pass within at least 15 to 20 minutes, and you will not see the trader until the next in-game year, so be sure to trade fast and get everything you need.
