Squad Battles in FIFA 22 are battles against the AI, and sometimes the AI can be a bit on the wonky side. You would think they’d fix a lot of the glitches from the past games or that this glitch is a new one but it’s not. Here is a guide on how to do the AFK glitch for Squad Battles.
NEW AFK Squad Battles Glitch Guide For FIFA 22
First things first, you need to get into a Squad Battle. This is against the AI so don’t worry. You can do this with any team as well, so just pick whatever you want. What you need to remember though is to pick the “World Class” difficulty. The glitch will only work at this difficulty so be aware of that.
Once you get into the match, I suggest scoring a goal. Of course, you’ll do this glitch to win right? Go get a goal or at least be higher than our opponent. For maximum gains, get 5 goals before starting the glitch.
After getting a goal, or 5 goals, get control of the ball and give it to your striker. You need to set it up so that your striker is in the penalty arc, the half circle near the goal. And he has to be facing away from the goal like the picture below.
Once he’s in position, hold the left trigger. This will make your player jockey and defend the ball. An enemy player will then go near him to try to get the ball. Once the enemy touches your player, let go of the left trigger. If done correctly they will be stuck there in a loop, pushing each other without anyone else moving like in the picture below.
Once you’re in that state just sit back and relax. Wait for the match to be over, or go to halftime. Do it again, easily keeping your points and winning the game.
