Find Disguise Guide | Blackshirt Disguise Location
The Blackshirt disguise can be found in the southeastern part of the Vatican map, tucked away in a courtyard next to the Apostolic Palace. Initially, this area will be off-limits, with impassable doors blocking your way until you advance far enough in the main mission.
To unlock access to the disguise, you’ll need to progress in the questline of The Stolen Cat Mummy. After making your way through the quest, Cardinal Antonio will hand you a bottle of wine and ask you to find the Underworld Gate at the Tower of Nicholas V. Be careful not to confuse this with a similar objective from the Mad Priest side quest that sends you down into the sewers beneath the tower.
Once you’ve navigated through an underground tomb raiding segment, you’ll eventually resurface at the Apostolic Palace excavation site. It’s here that you’ll receive a new objective: follow a nun who opens one of those locked doors I mentioned earlier. This is when you’ll meet Gina, the female lead of The Great Circle, and witness an exciting cutscene of a Zeppelin docking at St. Peter’s Basilica.
After the cutscene, you’ll find yourself on a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Below, some Blackshirts are hanging laundry—how charming! Use the zipline to cross over to the opposite balcony. Once you’re there, climb down, dispatch the Blackshirts in your way, and claim the disguise from the stool. While you’re in the courtyard, don’t forget to snap a photo of one of the inscriptions Antonio asked for—it’s located at the far end of the courtyard from the disguise!
How to Start the Underground Boxing Ring
Before you get your Blackshirt disguise, you might want to check out the Underground Boxing Ring. It’s located west of the main path in the Vatican map and just north of the Borgia Courtyard near the Sistine Chapel. The entrance is a discreet doorway behind the stairs leading up to the Fountain of Confession. Take the stairs down, and you’ll find yourself in the boxing club.
Starting this sidequest is beneficial because it places a marker on your map, showing you exactly where to find the Blackshirt disguise. Once you’re in the uniform, the Underground Boxing Ring offers a great opportunity to earn cash by participating in matches. Plus, there’s an infinite healing bandage dispenser to keep you in fighting shape, along with a vendor who sells combat-focused skill books. Not a bad way to get some extra lira!
