When you equip a certain weapon, you will earn the skill that comes with the weapon. However, sometimes, you want to choose a more appropriate skill for a specific fight. This guide will show you where you can find the merchant who will teach you multiple Ashes of Wars.
Ash of War Merchant – Elden Ring
If you want to change the skill that comes with the weapon you currently have equipped, you can use an Ash of War. This item will give you a specific skill, according to its effects. However, you need to make sure that it is compatible with your weapon first.
You can find most Ash of War items all over the map in Elden Ring. You may need to defeat bosses or open chests to acquire them. However, there is one merchant that can sell you different types of Ash of Wars in exchange for runes.
Start by going to the area on the map above and go to the Warmaster’s Shack.
You will find an NPC called Bernahl and he will ask you if you are ready to take up the fight. Simply say that your faith remains firm and you will unlock his wares.
Talk to Bernahl to purchase different types of Ash of Wars.
