Find the Missing Miners | Horizon Forbidden West

This is the second objective for the sidequest Deep Trouble which you can get in Chainscrape. It’s main objective is to rescue two miners that are trapped inside the mines. We’ll guide you through this rescue mission down below!

Find the Missing Miners – Horizon Forbidden West

This particular questline is pretty straightforward, just a quick get in and get out quest. Finding the miners is quite easy but getting them out might be a little tricky.

To find the missing miners, talk to Korvend and enter the mine. You should be able to find a pool of water as you move deeper into the construct. Dive into it and follow the waymark towards the next area. It would be a short swim but still practice constant vigilance!

Once you surface, you should arrive at a small clearing with a recently-inhabited room. I guess the reason why the miners could not escape was because of the flooding in the caved-in section right at the entrance. Look around and you’ll see two men sitting on some crates. These are the miners you’re looking for!

One of the men is wearing a cloth helmet, while the other is just in his mining jumper without a shirt inside. Talk to the man wearing the helmet and you’ll learn that his name is Thorden. After talking to him, your objective should be complete and a new one should pop right after!

The only thing to do now is to figure out a way to get them out. Good luck!
