Surviving in the world of ice is crucial. It’s the primary goal of every living being in Frozen City. These Survivors are key to successful gameplay and are a significant factor in more ways than one. So, how can you increase your Survivors? Do you find it hard to finish tasks due to a lack of workforce? Fret no more, we’ll teach you how to obtain more precious survivors in the game.
How to Increase Survivors
Increasing Survivors should be one of your top priorities in the game because without them, your camp will not operate. Survivors are the ones who will man material production, hunting, cooking, and more. So having more of them living in your camp must be one of your ultimate goals in playing Frozen City.
Build Dorms
Dorms are where Survivors stay and sleep in Frozen City. As seen in the image below, the red arrow points to the place with the plus sign where you can build a dorm. In the right image, encircled, are the needed materials for building a dorm. You won’t get further with incomplete raw materials, so make sure that you have enough.
Upgrade Dorms
Upgrading a dorm enables you to add two more Survivors. You’ll need various materials for each upgrade, such as coal and scrap iron. You can only upgrade it if you have the necessary materials. So, always check which materials are needed to push through the upgrade.
How to Acquire More Dorms
Upgrading the Furnace is essential in acquiring more dorms. Each time you upgrade the Furnace, new buildings, more upgrades, and more dorms are unlocked. Take, for example, the picture below; you will need coal, cushion, and steel block. It also shows what you’ll get or unlock when done with the upgrade, so you better upgrade it as required.
Benefits of Having More Survivors
Having plenty of Survivors in your city has lots of benefits. Let me tell you some of them:
- Survivors Help Manage Your Buildings: Your city or camp requires various materials and buildings to function and thrive. But without Survivors, there won’t be any Hunters, Cooks, Blacksmiths, Miners, and more. There won’t be any production, more food, or progress—another reason you should increase them.
- Complete Certain Tasks: Some tasks require a specific number of Survivors to finish. (Ex.14 Survivors are living in your camp). You can get gems and other materials by doing tasks. And completing the required mission will let you finish the current game and move on to the next city.
- Increase Productivity & Resources: If you only have one Survivor/Worker in a building, production will be slower, and the number of materials is super low. It’ll take you ages before you can upgrade anything.
Increasing Survivors in your city is essential because they are the heart and soul of your camp. With them, you can do everything. So, you better take care of them and take in more of them in your city. The saying is true: The more, the merrier.
What are you waiting for? Go ahead and build more dorms and upgrade everything you have to. At the end of the day, you and your people will run your camp successfully. Build, build, build, and upgrade!
