A Wangshan Walk to Remember is a world quest in Genshin Impact that players can encounter in Yilong Wharf, Liyue. Players can trigger this quest by using the fast travel waypoint closest to Wangshan Hall and talking to Huang the Third.

Complete Guide to the Wangshan Walk To Remember Quest & Puzzles
The “A Wangshan Walk To Remember” World Quest involves a ton of dialogue that you’re probably going to skip through. The gist is that you need to complete two trials to be able to enter the Guhua clan’s Wangshan Hall.
These trials will test your skill as a fighter and will eventually give you access to the Arcane Archive, which is a location you will need for a future quest.

Quest Sequence
Generally, these are all the tasks that make up the “Wangshan Walk To Remember“ World Quest.
- Go to Wangshan Hall
- Follow Huang the Third to the site of the trial
- Learn about the rules for the trial
- Complete the trial!
- Follow Huang the Third to the site of the next trial
- Open Wangshan Hall’s gates
- Enter Wangshan Hall
- Tour Wangshan Hall with Huang the Third
- Speak with Huang the Third and go to the next location
- Tour Wangshan Hall with Huang the Third
- Speak with Huang the Third and go to the next location
- Tour Wangshan Hall with Huang the Third
- Talk to Huang the Third
The First Trial
The first trial will be close to Wangshan Hall. This will be marked on your map so you won’t have to go through the trouble of finding it.
Once you make it to the site of the trial, Huang the Third will show you the Plumwatcher Piles, which are unremarkable stone pillars that have seen better days. Huang the Third will then tell you the conditions of the trial: step on the stone pillars in the order he specifies.
This trial isn’t very difficult. Just jump onto the pillars that are marked as fast as possible. You can also use characters like Xiao and use his skill to move faster. Keep in mind though, that doing this will sacrifice precision for speed.
You’ll be allowed to climb up the poles so don’t worry about landing the jump perfectly each time.
Congratulations! Huang the Third will compliment your technique and you can move on to the next trial. This is the Martial Trial, so be prepared to fight.
The Second Trial
The second trial is the Trial of Spear and Sword, which really isn’t as impressive as it sounds. Here, Huang the Third pulls out some dummies and you’ll be asked to defeat all the dummies in red within the allotted time. Note that you shouldn’t hit any dummies in blue or you have to repeat the trial.
Once you accomplish this, Huang the Third will be impressed with your skills. Now you can follow him and see the inside of Wansgshan Hall for yourself.
Tour Wangshan Hall
Now that you have access to Wangshan Hall, well, it’s up to you to decide if the trials were worth the trouble.
The hall is old and filled with old fighting dummies and weapons. Even the Traveler notes that the hall has seen better days, but Huang the Third is convinced that the domains of the Adepti pale in comparison.
You’re given a quick tour of the hall. Again, there’s not much to see except for some old equipment. You can also offer some incense at the memorial of the Guhua clan’s founder, after which, you are taken to the Arcane Archives, which will be locked behind a gate.
You won’t be allowed to enter because only Guhua disciples are given access to this corner of Wangshan Hall, but you can find out more about that in the Scrolls and Sword Manuals of Guhua quest that comes after this quest line.
