The ultimate chest prize in Genshin Impact are the chests in Shrine of Depths that gives 20 primogems per chest. And like previous regions, you can also find Shrine of Depths spread across Fontaine if you know where to look.
But in the case that you don’t scale the mountains and dive deep into the trenches of this region, use this guide for the locations of Shrine of Depths in Fontaine. We did it so you don’t have to.
All Fontaine Shrine of Depths Locations
To summarize, there are currently four Shrine of Depths in Fontaine. Number is subject to changes as Genshin Impact continues to update their game and expand the area since we’ve just started 4.0.
The first one is in Beryl Region. It is easiest to find if you take the Waypoint on top of the cliff here. Make sure to go around from the north so you can go up the cliff and reach the Waypoint first. Afterward, you can unlock the Shrine anytime you want in the future when you have the key.
The second Shrine of Depth is between the Beryl and Belleau region, in the underwater part of the map. Still from the same Statue of the Seven, head east to unlock the Waverider port. Hop on your boat and dive right at where the Waypoint is. The Shrine of Depth will be directly to the south here.
The third shrine is to the noth of the Court of Fontaine. While the aquabus is not currently available, you’ll have to walk your way there. I’d suggest taking your time from the Statue of the Seven to unlock the Waypoints one by one on your way there.
The fourth and final is close to the third, just east from here. You most probably have the underwater Waypoint unlocked, but if you haven’t, use the aquabus on the Navia Line (3F). From Marcotte Station (or alternatively, use the Waypoint if you already have it unlocked!), go northwest. It’s easy to spot as the shrine isn’t on the cliff or anything.
Pictured below is if you take the underwater route, there’s a hilichurl camp you can clear out for a precious chest on your way there.
And those are all the Shrine of Depths for Fontaine region. How’s the new 4.0 update going for you? Let us know in the comments!
