The Mysterious Cores are part of a quest named Truly Mouthwatering in Genshin Impact. To complete this quest, you will need to locate seven of them. In this guide, we are going to explain all the mysterious core locations in Genshin Impact to make it easier for you to find them.
All Mysterious Core Locations
To begin the Mysterious Core Locations Quest, you should first help a guy named Henri.
Go to the northern shore of the eastern island to find Henri. There, defeat the two crabs and speak with Henri. You will first need to figure out why he is buried in the sand.
That part of the quest only has two objectives.
- Investigate the Vicinity: Look for clues around the beach to understand why Henri is buried in the sand. You should find 4 hints in total.
- Solve the Puzzle: After gathering enough clues, go back to Henri and talk with him to trigger the puzzle and solve it.
Pick the options listed below in the correct order to solve the puzzle.
- Shout out so he can be heard.
- The Walker Duo
- Fearful of the Walker Duo
- Nearby Shovel
- Henry was buried here.
After finishing this part, you can now start searching the Fontaine to find seven mysterious cores.
Pneuma & Ousia Blocks
You will need to do the same thing to get each Mysterious Core as you locate them. There will be Pneuma and Ousia Blocks that you need to collect and shoot at the machine.
If you successfully shoot one of them to the machine, it will alert enemies and you will need to defeat them to keep going. After defeating them, shoot the other one for the chest to spawn.
Mysterious Core #1
The first Mysterious Core is located by a waterfall to the west of Elynas. Collect the Ousia and Pneuma Blocks on the ground and use the water platforms to go up to the machine.
Mysterious Core #2
The second Core is located south of Automnequi’s West Slope, and the Pneumousia Block is behind the trees to its left.
Once you shoot it at the machine and defeat the enemies, Ousia Block will also spawn behind the trees.
Mysterious Core #3
The third Mysterious Core is located by a fishing spot on the east beach of Elynas. The Ousia Block is right next to it as well.
As you take the Ousia Block, a blue platform will appear for you to climb to the machine. Be careful of it as it will disappear once you successfully hit the machine.
Mysterious Core #4
The fourth Mysterious Core is located south of the Salacia Plain. You will find it underwater.
Look for a big glowing blue stone to locate the Ousia Block. Absorb the power of an Armored Crab to break that stone.
Defeat the enemies that spawn after you shoot the block to the machine, you will receive the Pneumousia Block as well.
Mysterious Core #5
The fifth Core is located close to the Teleport Waypoint and toward the center of the Salacia plain.
You should first activate the Echoing Conches around, then dig the ground to find the blocks.
Mysterious Core #6
The sixth Core is located in the Salacia Plain‘s northern region. You can find the Ousia Block close to the machine, inside a big seaweed that resembles an umbrella.
Mysterious Core #7
The last Mysterious Core you need to find is located near the entrance to the Talatta Submarine Canyon, close to the Teleport Waypoint.
You will see the Penumosia Block trapped in Fontemer Grass. Use the abilities of a Hunter Ray Fontemer Aberrant to free the block and collect it.
