Genshin Impact: Aranaga’s Memory

Aranaga’s Memory is a subquest that can be started just by walking around the Mawtiyama Forest and finding a very old man just standing on his own in a little camp that he created. In this guide, we will be showing you how to start this quest, how to complete all the tasks, and how to finish it. Let’s see how to complete Aranaga’s Memory.

Aranaga’s Memory – Genshin Impact

This is where you can begin the Aranaga’s Memory quest. Just get to this location and talk to the NPC.

You will find an old man with ??? as his name. Just go up to him and start talking to him to get the quest going. He will reveal his name to be Khayyam once you talk to him.

After a long cutscene of talking you’ll be getting your first objective on what to do, and also have started the Aranaga’s Memory quest. You will need to head to Mawtiyima. This is just around the corner, a cave opening.

Once you get inside this cave you will want to look for Khayyam again. Keep walking inside the cave and get deeper and deeper. You will have only one road to follow so just follow it. You cannot get lost at all.

Plants to Investigate

Once you find him again he will tell you of some plants that you’ll need to investigate. So that is your job now. To find these 2 plants.

The first plant will be literally as you look on your right. There will be a couple of enemies in the area so you will need to be careful around them. Just kill them first and then Interact with the weird looking plant. To get there you can simply glide.

There will also be a cutscene with the old man talking about his past.

The second plant that you’ll be looking for will be right on top and next to this big root of a tree.

Once you get there you will do the same. Defeat all the enemies that you’ll find here and then go through the cutscene with Khayyam once again.

The next objective will be just to find Khayyam and the new plants that have grown in the area. It will be marked on the map and it will be right next to the second plant location too. Just walk up next to it and go through the cutscene.

After this is done you’ll go back to the camp outside. It will be in the same location as you’ve started the quest.
