For many players, this conch is the last piece to get so that you can complete the 16-conch collection to get Fischl’s free outfit. And I can understand the frustration, the other conches were so easy to get that these conches stuck in mirages can be annoying. Here’s the guide to ease the pain of looking for that last conch – the Blazin Trails Phantasmal Conch.

First off, you need to start the mirage. Go to the Broken Isle and go to the place where you usually activate to change the mountain heights. We’re not doing that now because we’re going into the mirage, so select “The Island’s Stirring Strings.”
Then under Phantasmal Tales select ”Blazin’ Trails” and go to the Mirage. The Mirage itself is very straightforward with some mini-puzzles scattered around, a bunch of monsters to fight and a couple of chests to loot. So go through the mirage as usual, don’t worry it’s very linear.
Once you see this part of the Mirage, this is where you can get the Phantasmal Conch. It’s a puzzle where you shoot out a magical musical note from the statue and the tuba-like plants direct where the note goes. When you enter the area, it’s already set to aim at the sealed chest, so might as well unlock it for some goodies.
When you’ve unlocked the chest, you need to aim the central tuba to the tuba that’s pointing upwards like the one on the image below.
You should know from similar tubas that the one on the image creates a flight path. Once the music note hits it correctly, it will.
Now with the flight path done you can just jump on it and glide straight to where the conch is.
Congratulations, you are a proud owner of possibly the 16th conch in your collection, the Blazin Trails Phantasmal conch. Now go and get your reward, a new outfit for Fischl!
