With the newest Fontaine region added to Genshin Impact, there are new quests waiting for you as well. The Book of Esoteric Revelations is only one of them, and it requires you to locate three pages around the region. In this guide, we are going to show you how to complete the Book of Esoteric Revelations in Genshin Impact, along with an optional luxurious chest you can get by completing some challenges.
Book Of Esoteric Revelations
First of all, go to Merusea Village to find Canotila. She will tell you about the Book of Esoteric Revelations and start the quest.
After talking with her, she will leave to show you the location of the book.
Teleport to “A Very Warm Place” to find Canotila and the Book of Esoteric Revelations.
You will then need to find the three missing pages and bring them back to her.
Enigmatic Page #1
Teleport to “A Very Warm Place” once more and go to the right from the waypoint.
Go to the cave on your right, and you will see that the chest that contains the Enigmatic Page is locked inside a Prism.
Attack the Red Crystal in front of it to unlock it and get the Enigmatic Page #1 from the chest.
Enigmatic Page #2
To find the second page, go to the Beryl Region cave. The chest you should find is guarded by three Wolfhounds there.
Defeat the Wolfhounds to reach the Enigmatic Page #2.
Enigmatic Page #3
The third and last Enigmatic Page you should find is located in Elynas on a Beastly Rift circle.
The chest is guarded by Wolfhounds once more, you should defeat all of them to get the chest.
Return the Pages
Once you collected all the missing Enigmatic Pages, go back to Canotila and put each of them back in the book.
After that, you will teleport into another realm and you will need to reach the marked area by following Canotila.
Use the Purple Portals to reach the other end when you face the big gaps in your way.
When you finally reach the marked area, you will face a Rifthound. You should defeat it to take the last portal located behind it and go back to Canotila to complete the quest.
Optional: Luxurious Chest
There is a luxurious chest that you can get by completing the trials around the realm. To get it, you should find all the challenges and finish them.
First, turn left instead of following Canotila on the big bridge. Jump to the platform below and interact with the red sword to begin the challenge. Defeat the Rifthound to finish the challenge. Loot the chest to get your rewards.
Use the purple portal next to the chest and go back to the bridge. Go all the way forward until you see Canotila in front of you, turn right before entering the building she gets into.
Jump below to the platform and activate the challenge once more. This time, you should blow up 4 Exploding Barrels within 30 seconds.
Loot the chest and get through the purple portal behind it. Go to your left when you land, jump on the platform below, and fall down to find the third challenge.
This time, you should open the chest in 30 seconds. Use the portal to get closer to it and run to the end until you reach the chest.
Use the purple portal to go back to the building Canotila entered before. Keep following the path and you will see the red sword that activates the challenges in front of you.
Activate it and collect 24 Hydro Particles in 40 seconds to complete the challenge. You can simply do it by entering the newly spawned portal in front of you.
Use the portal behind the chest and use another one when you land. Go inside the building on your right and shoot the purple statues located next to the purple portals there.
A chest will appear when you shoot each one of them. You will also find a scattered page when you walk up the stairs next to the chest.
After that, use the purple portal and you will find the Luxurious Chest.
