The new Sumeru area will be lots of areas that are infected with the Tumor of Withering. That is why most of the quests will be to clean up the pollution caused by them. In today’s guide, we will be showing you how to clean up the Pollution also that is caused by Withering by completing 4 puzzles first. Let’s see what you’ll have to do.
Clean Up The Pollution Caused By The Withering – Genshin Impact
To Clean up the Pollution that is caused by the Withering you will have to complete a total of 3 puzzles. You will get a special type of spell that you can use depending on where you need to use it. There will be 3 variants of this spell. Simply look out for the color and you will need to switch to the correct one.
These are the puzzles completed in order:
Puzzle 1
You will have to glide all the way to get here. It will be the first puzzle on the right side of your starting location. Here go for the rock that is highlighted in the circle. Use the correct spell(you can cycle through them if needed) and you’ll break it. Touch both of the statues too.
Then activate the red flower that will be right next to the tree. To do this you will need to activate the Dendrograna first. Then just strike the flower. An enemy will spawn that you’ll need to ill. That will finish this puzzle.
Puzzle 2
Go to the second highlighted circle that is shown on the mini-map of yours. This is where it will lead you.
Activate the same statues as you did in the previous puzzle. Just activate the spell and strike them with it. When they get fixed you will walk up to them and Activate them, or Touch them. The second statue, which is really hard to find, will be inside this blocked-off area.
It will be right next to the highlighted circle but hidden by bushes. You will hit it with a spell again to activate it. Then activate the Dendrograna and strike the red flower again. Congratulations on completing yet another puzzle! On to the last one.
Puzzle 3
Go to the last highlighted circle on the mini-map. Here you will be doing the exact same as the previous ones.
Crush this stone with your spell in order to get the totem behind it. Then activate the totem by hitting with your spell again and Touching it. The other statue that you will need to touch will be inside this cave surrounded by water here.
You will use the spell again and then walk up to it to Touch it. This will get them both activated and finished. Then the same again. Summon the Dendrograna and hit the red flower. It will be just in the middle of the highlighted circle and next to the big tree.
The Last Withering Zone
Then once all of those are done you will have to go and clear the last Withering Zone.
Simply drop down to the bottom floor where the highlighted circle on the mini-map will be and clear out all the enemies. You will have completed all the red flowers from before so now you will simply have to go to the big red flower this time. When near it, just interact and Destroy the Tumor of the Withering. That’s it!
