Something seems to be going on in the world of Genshin Impact, because the water doesn’t seem to be flowing correctly. Might be giant monsters, might be a natural phenomenon, might even be something big for the story. Either way, clearing these water veins seems to be the primary concern for our heroes in order to find out what’s really going on. In this guide, we’ll show you where to go and how to clear the water veins from clogging up the water.
Clear The Water Veins On The Island Guide – Genshin Impact
The island you’ll need to be on is the large island on the east side of the Golden Apple Archipelago. The quest will place two large circles that will cover most of the island, so it’ll be hard to miss.
The first thing you need to find is the water stream that’s glowing underground. This will lead you to where you need to go in order to clear the way for the water.
Upon following the stream, you’ll find a cave entrance locked behind some magic force field. You will need to use the Melodic Harp and Melodic Blooms in order to destroy the force field. Adjust the Melodic Bloom next to the harp and interact with the harp. This will then make the harp shoot out notes in order to open the force field.
When the force field goes down, you’ll see the rock blocking the stream is being guarded by the same force field that blocked the door. Go to the second Melodic Bloom near the cave entrance and adjust the orientation until it faces the bloom that’s facing the rock. Then, interact with the harp to shoot notes at the blooms, destroying the shield. Destroy the rock and the stream will lead you to the next one.
Following the stream will make you climb a mountain, so be ready to do some climbing. Preserve your stamina as much as possible when climbing and don’t rush, or else you’ll deplete your stamina bar faster than normal.
Once you reach the top of the mountain, you’ll find the last rock. Destroy it, and you have successfully cleared the water veins for at least one of the islands. Now the next island needs help, so head on over there.
Once you land on the beach, just do the same thing you’ve been doing so far: follow the water stream to your next destination. Be careful along the way though, as there are enemies that you might encounter as you follow the stream.
Upon reaching the next rock, you’ll find that enemies are surrounding the area. There’s no going around them, as they are guarding the Melodic Harp. Defeat all of the enemies in the area to clear up space so you can solve the puzzle here.
Once you have the area clear, just solve the puzzle by making the Melodic Blooms face the other blooms. This is so the note can reach the protected rock by the same force field. Once it is gone, destroy the rock and continue on following the stream to your next destination.
The stream will go up the mountain. So, you have to follow it by going up the construction. It’s the one that the enemies made in the area. You can fight them along the way, or you can ignore them and just continue onward as you dodge them and avoid getting hit.
Once you reach the top of the mountain and at the end of the stream, you’ll find the last rock. Destroy it, and you have successfully restored the stream for both islands.
