We all know the most common quests in Roleplaying games, these are delivery quests, collection quests, and kill quests. These quests are often boiled down to go deliver this item, go collect 50 bushels of grass, go defeating a thousand bees. These kinds of quests are often made fun of these days since its products of old game design principles. These days most players don’t have time to collect 500 feathers or kill 10,000 enemies, so it’s great when developers dial down these kinds of quests. Collect Herbs Together With Tighnari Guide For Genshin Impact
There are a lot of different types of quests in Genshin Impact. Some of them can be fun and add to the story. Meanwhile others involve solving fun puzzles or going through the game’s equivalent of dungeons. Genshin Impact has a great way of fanning out different kinds of quests so that the player doesn’t feel or realize that a certain quest line actually has 5 puzzles and 2 fetch quests in it. One of these quests is Collecting Herbs together with Tighnari.
At one point after meeting Tighnari you’ll be tasked with collecting herbs with him. This is the way to show the player what kind of character he is. He’s quite knowledgeable about these herbs and how they grow and he shows it through dialogue. The herbs you’ll be looking for are Nilotpala Lotuses and they’ll be marked on your map where they are.
As Tighnari explains, the Nilotpala Lotus grows on the water. You’ll have to get yourself wet as you traverse the lake next to the start of the quest to gather these herbs. There are 4 of them in total. They’re very close to each other, after collecting them you’ll head back to Tighnari to continue the quest.
