You’re back in the archipelago again, and you’ve found yourself on some random island. There’s a sealed chest and a bunch of pots around it, there’s no need for prompts, no quest markers, nothing except the natural urge to destroy the pots. Be it crates in Half-Life that gives us loot or furniture in Dark Souls that give us nothing, gamers will always destroy things given a chance. This puzzle builds on this foundation. Countdown Device Pots Puzzle Guide For Genshin Impact
First off, where is this puzzle located? Well, it’s to the west of the Minacious Isle. It’s pretty far off so you better get your sea legs ready and start sailing!
While exploring that island you should come across a small room with some sealed device, a sealed chest and a bunch of pots. When you smash a pot, it’ll display a message in the screen saying “A device starts a countdown somewhere…” that should be your cue to destroy all the pots.
There are 5 pots in the room that you should destroy as soon as possible, there’s also pot number 6 behind the chest and above it.
If you’re having trouble attacking the pots fast enough try using a tall male character like Diluc since those types of characters move faster than the rest. You can also use Xiao with his spear thrust move so you can save a few steps towards the pots since it has a long range. Speaking of range, if you’re fast enough and good at aiming, ranged characters like amber may be good here as well.
Once you’ve obliterated all enemy pots and rid the world of their ill, then the chest and the device should be unlocked, so congratulations!
