Genshin Impact has released yet another chunky update that features new areas, characters, quests, and rewards to earn. As a part of the Vaulting the Wall of Morning Mist quest chain, you will eventually get the objective to “Explore the Tower”. In this guide, we will be showing you everything that you need to do one step at a time in order to get through this section.
Explore the Tower Guide
First, after the cutscene, indwell into an Iktomisaurus by interacting with the glowing blue icon on the table. By taking on this form, you can use its ability to scan the glowing mark on the wall. This will get rid of the blue box, letting you activate the lever.
After activating the lever, you can now drop down to the floor below you. Once you are in the lower floor, head over to the elevator behind the wall to the side of the room.
When the elevator stops, do not move away just yet. Instead, turn to the side and you should see a door that is propped up by a small crate. Use the switch right beside it to raise the door completely.
Inside, you will find another mark on the wall that you need to activate with your ability. When you do this head back out of the room and walk to the other end of the hallway.
Next, use your ability to create a blue crate below the door that is only partially open. This will push it further up and allow you to pass through. Go inside and loot the chest. After a brief moment, the floor will suddenly crumble and drop you into another floor below.
There will be another lever here, but do not pull it yet! Instead, head over to the mark on the wall up ahead and use your ability on it. After doing that, head back out of the room it was in.
Finally, use your ability once more to create a blue crate under the gate leading into the room that had the mark in it. With that in the way, you can now pull the lever in this floor to open the next section.
Once the next part is open, simply walk on through and touch the glowing light on the ground. This will trigger a cutscene, marking the end of this small section of the quest chain.
Congratulations, you have now completed the Explore the Tower step of the quest chain! Once that is over, you still have a long road ahead of you before the rest of this chain is completed, so be ready for more puzzles and exploration down the line.
