It’s always nice to see the tradition of people getting trapped inside ancient ruins once they figure out a way in still being carried on. It gives you a sense of urgency, a sense of you having too high tail it out of there before a boulder comes crashing down from behind.

As exciting as that may sound, it doesn’t actually happen in Genshin Impact. You still have to find the energy block though, and you won’t be leaving the Khaenri’ahn ruin until you do so, which will definitely be annoying so check out the guide before your feelings get the better of you!

Find Energy Block Guide – Genshin Impact

Finding the energy block will be your next objective right after you go through the blocked-off gate that came with a rune puzzle.

Be prepared to fight a few Rifthounds as you make your way further down, other than that everything else will be a breeze.

Move away from the door and follow the path until the room opens up, go through the puddle on the right and keep walking until you come across a dead end. You’ll find a Khvarena here that you’ll need to escort back up.

Everything next to the oversized puddle will unfreeze on your way back so get ready for a few fights here and there as you escort the orb along. Interact with the yellow orb to your left as soon as you make your way up to the locked door to continue on.

Paimon will let you know where the Energy Block is instead of letting you figure things out for yourself the moment you go through the door.

Pick that up and make a right turn into a ruined vent that will lead to another door with some runes on it for you to unlock.

The combination for the door will be a square, w, and another square.

Go through the next room and put down the two Ruin Guards and follow the Khvarena again until it reaches another door. This door will finally lead you back to Nasejuna where he’ll tell you to install the energy block in order to proceed.

That’s how you get through this section of the ruins! Try it out for yourself, and don’t get lost!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
