How Xiao’s Ability Works
Xiao’s ability acts a bit like Elemental Sight. When you activate it, you’ll see trails of blue and black smoke representing “fetor,” which leads to important areas. On PC, press “T” to activate his ability. For console or mobile, simply tap the corresponding button in your controls. Once you see the fetor trails, follow them closely to your next objective.
Tip: The fetor trails can be tricky to spot in darker areas. Adjust your brightness settings if needed or take a second look around the room.
Attack the Fetor Node to Dispel the Fetor
The Fetor Node is a broken pillar surrounded by swirling blue-black fog. Use normal attacks to dispel the fetor and clear the area. Once the fetor is gone, a Rattan Figure will appear.
Tip: The nodes usually aren’t too far from the fetor trails. If you’re unsure where to go, just follow the smoke, and you’ll stumble upon it.
