The Jadestone Turtle is a creature that you can locate in Chenyu Vale in the newest Update 4.4. of Genshin Impact. There is a specific area you can go to find the giant jadestone turtle in the game. Giant Jadestone Turtle
Jadestone Turtles are thick-shelled reptiles. Like their counterparts throughout Teyvat, they move slowly and have a gentle attitude.
According to legend, the first people who lived in Chenyu Vale saw a gigantic turtle that was more majestic than all the mountains combined and gave it the name Gui in the distant past.
Though the veracity of such stories cannot be confirmed, modern Jadestone Turtles are still capable of growing into amazing giants.
How to Unlock Jadestone Turtle
In order to unlock the Jadestone Turtle in Genshin Impact, you should first go to the north-east of Yilong Wharf in Chenyu Vale. There, you should complete a little quest to activate them.

There, go closer to the beachside and find the Ancient Stone Tablet with a glowing light on it. You are going to need to interact with it.
After interacting with the stone, go up the little hill right next to it. There, choose the “Feed” option and toss raw meat, fowl, fish, or another meat product into the glowing yellow light to trigger the cutscene.
Once you do that, a giant turtle will appear right in front of you. Jump on top of it and try to touch it a little.
After touching the big, giant Jadestone Turtle, it will start swimming and take you somewhere else. Do not leave it until it reaches its destination. It is going to be a short trip anyway.
There, you are going to see that a couple of turtles have spawned. One of them has the jade crystal, and others are just cute turtles. You might also see a chest next to them.
Once you complete the cutscene to activate the turtles, they will appear and stay in this location. They are going to keep staying in that area even if you leave. The jade on the turtle will spawn every 48 hours.
Giant Jadestone Turtle Drops
As we mentioned, some turtles will have a jadestone on their backs. When those turtles spawn, you should walk up to them and break off these jades to help them with their itch. These jades are named Clearwater Jades.
Clearwater Jade is a Chenyu Vale-specific material used to ascend Xianyun in Genshin Impact 4.4.
