Genshin Impact’s new update 5.2 has added some really cool locations revolving around tribes. You get to participate in interesting world quests while collecting certain items. Using these items, you can even get the Crimson Obsidian Ring.
But it isn’t immediately clear what you’re supposed to do with it, as the description is quite cryptic… Not to worry, we have you covered. We’ll show you how to get the Crimson Obsidian Ring and how you can use it for some great rewards. Let’s dive in!
How to Get & Use Crimson Obsidian Ring
The Crimson Obsidian Ring in Genshin Impact cannot be obtained directly. Instead, it needs to be crafted with some materials. After that, you’ll need to use them at a specific location.
Let’s go through each of these steps.
Crafting Crimson Obsidian Ring
To craft the Crimson Obsidian Ring, you’ll first need to get your hands on Crimson Obsidian Fragments. You can farm these fragments by looting Luxurious and Precious chests in the Quahuacan Cliff area of Genshin Impact.
There is a random chance to get these fragments from the chests, and we are not sure about the exact odds.
To be able to craft the Crimson Obsidian Ring, you will need to collect x3 Crimson Obsidian Fragments. It’s likely you’ll already have some fragments if you’ve been playing the new update and exploring the area.
Once you have the required amount, hit the Craft option and you’ll have obtained the ring!
Using Crimson Obsidian Ring
To use the Crimson Obsidian Ring, you’ll need to head to the right location. Start by going to the location marked below in Flower Feather Clan.
You’ll see a bunch of NPCs here at the top. From here, you want to jump from the platform, near a couple of NPCs talking. After that, glide ahead to the ground.
As you do so, turn around and you should see a hidden cave with a translucent barrier on it.
Approach the barrier and you’ll be able to interact with it. Select the Activate button and you’ll be able to use the Crimson Obsidian Ring on it. Doing so will remove the barrier.
Going inside will give you access to all kinds of treasures that you can loot. These are mostly really valuable 5 star artifacts that you can consider adding to your build.
