Vanarana is a strange and mystical area. It feels like it exists in another dimension. In a way, it does. There is a way to “switch” to another version of Vanarana, one where you can find the Aranara folks. They are the local inhabitants of the mystical side of Vanarana. They are often friendly and harmless (and also quite adorable). If you want to experience this other version of Vanarana, then follow this guide and we will show you how.

How To Switch Vanarana To See Aranara NPC – Genshin Impact

First up, we have to go to Vanarana. Utilize the Statue of the Seven to teleport to the area we need to go.

Once spawned in, turn around and run to this area. See that large boulder with large grass growing out of it? That’s the key to switching Vanarana’s.

Here, there is a smaller rock with a plant growing on top of it. However, there is a symbol on said rock that differentiates it from the rest. Approaching it will trigger the rhythm mini game in Genshin Impact that was added in version 3.0. Here, you have to follow the sequence of notes in order to switch to the other Vanarana. The notes will highlight just as they need to be pressed, so it’s not a hard mini game.

Once you successfully complete the rhythm game, you will then be taken to a loading screen. Once out of the loading screen, turn around and you will see that things are a lot different than they were. The lighting seems much bluer, there are glowing plants in the grass, and the Phantasmal Gate in the distance seems to be glowing an otherworldly color.

That’s because you have finally reached the other Vanarana, home of the Aranara’s.

Here, you can find Aranara’s just wondering about, minding their own business. If you have the camera with you, you can even take pictures of them.
