Genshin Impact: How to Unlock Ochkanatlan Statue of the Seven

Genshin Impact’s version 5.2 includes a new region with much to explore and another statue to unlock, specifically the Ochkanatlan Statue of the Seven. The statue is locked inside a ruin but is fairly easy to access. We’ll tell you what you need to do. 

How to Unlock Ochkanatlan Statue of the Seven

The steps to unlocking the statue are simple. All you need to do is reach the ruined tower, climb the ruin, reach the opening with the red beam of light and then interact with the artifact.

This will trigger a cutscene that eventually reveals the Statue of the Seven. The details of this guide are explained below so keep reading for a full walkthrough!

Full Walkthrough

To unlock the Ochkanatlan Statue of the Seven, you’ll need to travel to the waypoint shown in the image below. Use the rest of the map as a reference to where you can find this waypoint.

This location will lead you to a tall ruin that you need to climb.

Enter the ruin when you reach the opening with a red beam of light inside.

Climb up the set of stairs and interact with the exclamation mark on the ruin’s artifact. If you have a Teptelisaur companion, it should lead you there.

This will trigger a cutscene where the ruin gets destroyed by a massive explosion. Another cutscene will appear where Paimon explains the lore behind Ochkanatlan City. 

Once the cutscene is over, you can now interact with the Statue of the Seven and start the “City Buried by Ash” quest!
