There are many areas and secret domains that you can unravel and discover in the amazing world of Genshin Impact. Some of them are directly open to you for traveling, while others need to pass a puzzle first. Well, the Umbrella’s Shade Domain needs a puzzle with totems, and in this guide, we will show you how to unlock it. Let’s get started.
How To Unlock Under The Umbrella’s Shade Domain – Genshin Impact
This is the location where you’ll have to go in order to get the quest going. This quest will give you the Umbrella’s Shade Domain in the end and you’ll have it unlocked. Meaning that you must finish it first.
When you get here the first thing you’ll notice is that there are totems all around you. Well, remember their location because it is with them that you’ll be able to pass this level and unlock the Umbrella’s Shade.
The key to passing this puzzle is actually striking them in the correct order. You will need to hit them with a Dendro Attack or by simply using Dendrigiana which can be found in this same area.
One of the totems will be found under a rock. You can break this rock also by using Dendrigiana or just by ignoring it and activating the totem without using the Dendro Attack.
The Order Of Totems To Hit
You will strike this totem first:

You will strike this totem third:
Just keep hitting the stone and it will break eventually. When it break you’ll find the totem hidden inside of it. Strike it to get the totem going.

You will strike this totem fifth:
Well, it will be the last one, so just go for that one. Simple enough.
Now once you’ve hit all of them you’ll get a mini cutscene. In this cutscene, you will notice that in the middle of this entire area a big structure will emerge from the water and from the ground.
Once that structure is to the top, and fully out of the ground, you will see the blue gates in front of it. Walk up to the blue gates and simply interact with it.
Once interacted with, the gates will open and reveal behind them a black portal. This portal is the Umbrella’s Shade Domain. Congratulations on achieving this new area!
