There’s a ton of stuff to do in the Golden Apple Archipelago. There are so many things that even some of them are kept for later. Using the Old Insignia is one of those quests. Here you’ll find out how you can use it later on.

How To Use Old Insignia – Genshin Impact

Just before you start to do anything keep in mind that as of writing this, the quest still isn’t available to pick up. It will come in the next couple of days.

After you have gotten the Old Insignia, and you can see how to get it through the other guides that we’ve posted in the previous days, you will need to bring this item to the Electrohammer Vanguard. You can only do this when then The Discard Insignia quest becomes available.

After it becomes available you have got some serious climbing up to do. It might take you a lot of tries because of how hard it is but it can be sort of your own achievement.

Basically, all you’ll need to do is go to the Minacious Isle. While you’re here you will spot big cliffs with very tall and high peaks on the west side. All you’ll have to do now is climb up one of them. You can do this from the other way around, of course, just go up the hill and then jump down this opening.

You will have to scale the mountain wall and keep going up slowly. Also, use the woods like bridges to get across one way from the other. Careful not to fall down though.

Once you get here you’ll notice one of the Conches. Keep following the road next to it and you’ll get to the Electrohammer Vanguard. You won’t be able to interact with him as of yet, but soon. The choices are going to be that you aren’t able to get through with him.

Congratulations on finding the Vanguard and learning how to use the Insignia which you’ll be able to do soon!
