The new content patch for Genshin Impact is here and it’s the deserts of Sumeru. The new update adds a whole new area for you to explore in, a desert filled with ruins that the player can explore. Not only that but it also adds new quests and characters as well as a continuation of the main quest. There’s plenty of enemies to fight, plenty of puzzles to solve and even more treasure to be found in these ruins. The new area also introduces Primal Obelisks which are scattered all around the new desert area, and in this guide, we’ll show you where one of them is.

Khaj Nisut Primal Obelisk Location For Genshin Impact

To the Northeastern part of the desert is a large ruin called Khaj Nisut, there a single Primal Obelisk can be found. These Obelisks can be then activated to find long lost seals that you can collect. It’s part of the adventuring around Sumer Desert and there’s a total of 10 of them around the new area of the map.

The ruin goes quite deep, if you glide down the ruins near the ground level there you can find the Obelisk on one of the platforms sticking out of the sand. You can activate the obelisk by marking Sacred Seals near it, and if you do so one will be below the obelisk.

The seal for this Obelisk is the Sacred Seal: Crocodile Head. There’s more around the desert so keep an eye out for them!
