Mementos of Teyvat Prelude of the Frozen Veil Day 1-3 Guide
If you’re new to this event, here’s the quick rundown: it’s a rerun photo-taking event where you’re tasked with visiting specific locations, meeting NPCs, and snapping shots under set conditions—like using characters from certain regions, changing the in-game time, or performing skills/animations.
The event runs from August 21, 2025 to September 1, 2025 and unlocks at Adventure Rank 20+ once you’ve completed Archon Quest Prologue Act III. Each stage gives small but very worthwhile rewards.

Day 1 – Paper Theater & Flame of Contention
Spot 1: Paper Theater (Guiztli Ridge, Natlan)
Requirements:
- Character must be from Natlan or Traveler
- Time set between 17:00–22:00
- Stand in the designated area
For the first challenge, head over to Guiztli Ridge and talk to Kinich. Don’t forget to set your in-game clock between 5 PM and 10 PM. Bring any Natlan character (or Traveler if you’re still exploring banners), equip your Kamera, and strike a pose within the marker.

Spot 2: Flame of Contention (Stadium of the Sacred Flame, Natlan)
Requirements:
- Use a Pyro character
- Perform an Elemental Skill
- Stand in the designated area
Travel to the entrance of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame and whip out your Kamera. For this one, any Pyro character works (Bennett, Diluc, Yoimiya—take your pick). Use an Elemental Skill, then lock in your perfect angle for the photo.

Day 2 – Summer Sea Sauruses & Weeping Willow of the Lake
Spot 1: Weeping Willow of the Lake (Errinyes Forest, Fontaine)
Requirements:
- Hydro character
- Perform a Normal or Charged Attack
- In the designated area
Head over to the Errinyes Forest lake in Fontaine. Pull out your favorite Hydro unit (Barbara, Mona, Furina, etc.), use either a Charged or Normal Attack, and snap the shot.

Spot 2: Summer Sea Sauruses (Wavey Bay, Natlan Resort)
Requirements:
- Fontaine character or Traveler
- Capture an Idle Animation
- In the designated area
Teleport to Wavey Bay and chat with Freminet before setting up. Pick any Fontaine character (or Traveler), then wait for them to go into their idle animation. Bonus tip: if you activate effects, some Koholasaurus will leap in the background—pretty neat for your album.

Day 3 – The Sun and Its Blossoms & Apam Woods
Spot 1: Apam Woods (Sumeru)
Requirements:
- Dendro character (or Traveler)
- Time set between 23:00–03:00
- In the designated area
Your first stop is Apam Woods. Switch to a Dendro character (Collei, Tighnari, Nahida, or Traveler), set your in-game clock to late night, and grab the perfect nighttime shot under the massive tree.

Spot 2: The Sun and Its Blossoms (Easybreeze Holiday Resort, Natlan)
Requirements:
- Bow character or Traveler
- Time set between 12:00–14:00
- In the designated area
For the second challenge, meet Tighnari west of Easybreeze Market. Bring a Bow character (Ganyu, Yelan, Fischl, or Tighnari himself) and set the clock to noon. Once you’ve lined up your Kamera, take the picture to complete your Day 3 objectives.

How to Play the Event (Quick Tips)
