There are a few objectives sometimes in games like Genshin Impact that are so bafflingly easy that it’s difficult to believe that they’re counted as objectives at all. Still however, it’s not always a guarantee that everyone will be able to hop on for the ride.

One of the objectives in the production zone will be to process widgets. A machine will do this for you, but where do you get the widgets you need to work on? And how do you use the machine? You’re an adventurer, not a factory worker! Find out more about manual labor in the guide below!

Process Widget Guide

The Processed Widgets are what you’re going to get whenever you’re working inside of the Production Zone in Fontaine.

You’ll get them from the forge that’s sitting next to Grainville. You’re going to need Unprocessed Widgets first, however. You can obtain that item through the Archon Quest Fortress of Meropide in Chapter IV.

After you interact with the forge for the first time, Grainville will hand out more unprocessed widgets for you to work on. This will continue on until you finish The Proscribed, Hidden in Plain Sight quest.

Once you get an unprocessed widget, head over to the forge and simply interact with it. Paimon will give you instructions on how to work with the machine.

Whenever it glows yellow, jump on it to continue the process. And when the machine emits a red glow that means it’s jammed. Attack it once without getting your fingers stuck to keep on working.

Do that three times and your objective will update. Take the processed widgets back to Grainville to progress through the rest of the quest. You’ll be doing this for a few times, with a few trips to the cafeteria in between.

And that’s how you process the widgets in the Fortress of Meropide in Genshin Impact. Now go out there and get back to work. You still have five hours of overtime to go through!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
