Genshin Impact has a new Springtime Charms event that will last for a few weeks. As of now, a lot of content is being released in the Liyue region on a day by day basis. Currently, we have the Day 1 content with likely more on the way.

So, if you’re trying to complete everything and get the rewards, we have you sorted! In this guide, we’ll be showing you everything there is to complete for the event. This will allow you to experience everything there is on offer. Without further delay, let’s get into it!

Springtime Charms Full Event Day 1

There is a lot of content that Genshin Impact players can find for Day 1 of the Springtime Charms full event. This includes going to various locations, participating in sub events and completing quests.

We’ll go over each of these so that you can get all the possible rewards.

All Custom Gift Envelope Day 1

As of now, there are currently two Custom Gift Envelope quests available on Day 1. We’ll go over two of these which will allow you to understand how these missions work and do the rest of them for the event as they release!

If you’re only interested in the envelopers, our all custom gift envelope day 1 guide has you sorted!

Custom Gift Envelope No. 1

For the first gift envelope quest, you’ll want to head to the following location in Liyue Harbor. Note that that second gift envelope mission will also take place here.

Mika location on map in Genshin Impact.

When you arrive here, you’ll find an NPC by the name of Mika standing in front of a stall. Interact with him and go through the various dialogue options. At the end, he will tell you that he needs your help in designing the gift envelope.

This will begin the mini game where you will need to design the envelope. There are a lot of designs that you can go for when designing the envelope.

The hint will be given to you in the top left corner of the screen by Mika. For the first gift envelope, he will require you to put orange and yellow items. So, you can choose any item that has these colors on them.

Keep placing different designs according to what he says until he tells you the envelope is lovely. This is your cue to submit the design.

You don’t necessarily have to follow the design we went with – it just needs to follow the theme given by Mika. Once you submit the design, you will have successfully completed the quest.

Custom Gift Envelope No. 2

For the next custom gift envelope quest, you will need to head to the same location. If you just completed the first quest, then it is likely you will need to come the next day between 08:00 – 18:00.

In this case, we recommend that you just forward time. The next day, you will find an NPC by the name of Kujou Sara there.

As with the previous NPCs, exhaust the dialogue options and she will ask you for your help. This will begin the custom envelope editing minigame.

This time the theme will require you to put flowers on the envelope. So, go for any designs that have flowers regardless of what color they are. You’ll know you put the right design based on the reactions from the NPC in the top left corner.

Just place as many designs as needed until you can submit the design. In our case, we only needed three as shown below. After submitting, the quest will be completed!

Drills By Lamplight Event

The Drills By Lamplight event is a combat sub-event that consists of different levels where you fight against waves of enemies. You get rewards based on the number of points you score. But there is a lot that goes into scoring points.

So, we’ll be going over everything which includes, how to play, how it works and the recommended strategy. You can also check out our dedicated drills by lamplight guide!

How To Start

To start the Drills By Lamplight event, start by selecting the icon for it in the Lamplit Entertainment menu. Doing so will give you the marker for an NPC called Minglan.

You will be able to find this NPC near the Northern fast travel waypoint in Liyue. Talk to Minglan and tell him that you’d like to give the drills a try in the dialogue options. Doing so will begin the sub-event.

How It Works

Drills By Lamplight is a combat mode where you fight waves of enemies within a limited time. Your goal is to score as many points as possible within this time. There are two stages so far in Drills By Lamplight, with there being three tiers of rewards in each stage.

To increase your points scored, you can select Secret Stratagems. Each of these gems triggers a combat effect that you can use to get buffs or increase your points. As you progress through the stages, you’ll unlock more Secret Stratagems.

There are four types of Secret Stratagems that you can select:

  • Stratagems of Engagement
    • Permanently increase the number of points scores in a single challenge when enemies are defeated
  • Stratagems of Assault
    • Permanently increase the additional multiplier when party members score points in a single challenge
  • Stratagems of Variation
    • When triggered, the points scored by your party will be multiplier for a limited time
    • Triggering them again when active will refresh their duration
  • Stratagems of Deployment
    • Provide the party with various buffs.

After a wave of enemies is defeated, the basic score from defeating them and all the different multipliers will multiply one another to give the final score. When the drill ends, you will gain the current wave’s final score.

Once you’ve selected the Stratagems, you will be asked to choose your party members. You can go with whatever characters you want and start the challenge.

As part of the challenge, you will fight waves of enemies while the challenge lasts.

To get the most points possible, you’ll want to use the Stratagems effects as much as possible so that you can trigger the multiplier. Since a lot of these effects are based on Elemental skills, we recommend choosing elemental characters.

Natlan characters can work really well here if there’s one you like playing with – although not strictly necessary.

During the fight, try to proc the Stratagems as soon as possible against enemies so that you can reap the maximum number of points. Be sure to also use the additional Secret Stratagems you unlock as some of these might suit your play style!

Immortal Combat

Immortal Combat is a new mini game sub event that you can play in Liyue River as part of the Springtime Charms event. In this game, you use rattan figures to fight against different opponents.

Immortal Combat can be thought of as a combination of Candy Crush and Tetris. The game will start with some colored blocks – and new blocks will start falling from above. You can control the blocks left and right, rotate them or speed up their fall.

Immortal Combat start in Genshin Impact.

When 4 or more same colored blocks are connected they will be cleared. Doing so will allow your rattan figure to attack the opponent and gain energy based on the Chain Level. With attacks, you will damage the rattan figures and also deploy obstacles.

So, your goal is to chain off as many of these attacks, so you can perform combos and get off more damage. Keep in mind that your choice of Rattan figure matters as different rattan figures have different skills and buffs.

Whoever depletes the other’s HP first wins the game. So, you do not want to spend too much time trying to set up combos – otherwise your opponent will win!
