The Reputation system in Genshin Impact offers players a level progression system. As you level up by doing daily, weekly and in-game story quests, you’ll be able to unlock new recipes that aid you in your progress. Depending on what region you are in, these rewards will be different.
With the introduction of the newest Fontaine region in patch 4.0, there will be more rewards for you to explore. The Fountain Flows Again is a side quest out of the many quests that you eventually need to complete. In this guide, we will show you how to complete the quest.
The Fountain Flows Again Guide
In order to take the quest, go to the Reputation NPC in the Fontaine region. Then, head towards Marcotte Station by taking the waypoint there. After that, you will want to head towards the direction we have marked for you to get to the fountain.
Once you get there, you will be able to see a small fountain. There will also be a small indicator that tells you the exact object you want to interact with. After you interact with it, there will be a small cutscene and you will be able to move on to the next part of the quest.
Then, the in-game indicator will lead you to a new location. This will lead you to the location of Edel, who you want to start a conversation with.
Once you have finished the conversation, you will want to teleport to the Statues of The Seven in Court of Fontaine. After that, go to the location of the blue world quest indicator.
Once you get there, start a conversation with Estelle. You will then later find out that Estelle is in need of some Iron Chunks. It is very likely that you have already got all of these items in your inventory so you will only need to give all the required materials to her.
If you don’t, you can find them on caves, mines, near mountainous terrain all around Teyvat. Moreover, you can buy them from Qiuyue located in Ritou, Inazuma, and Shitou located in Liyue Harbor, Liyue.
After that, you will automatically teleport back to the location of the fountain. Together with the NPCs, you will fix the fountain and reach the ending of the quest. On completing the quest, you will receive 20 Reputation EXP.
That is how you can complete the ‘The Mountain Flows Again’ quest in Genshin Impact. This quest is an easy quest to complete, meaning that you can get that extra 20 Reputation EXP quite easily.
