The Golden Apple Vacation Returns – Genshin Impact
This will be under the Summertime Odyssey. It is labeled as The Golden Apple Vacation Returns! And it should look this way.
The rewards are extremely good and the whole quest line itself is fantastic and very interesting. It is a limited-time event with about 38 days remaining, so even if you decide to do this some other time and later, feel no pressure. But you will be missing out on a bunch if you do not go for it.
The Quest Line
You will have to go to Mondstadt in order to be able to start the quest. While in the town you’ll need to go to the Adventurer’s Guild and talk to Katheryne. It is going to be a cut scene here where a big dialogue will commence with this NPC.
After this, you’ll need to make your way to Fischl at the Plaza. She will be located on the west side of the town. So just use the west travel point so you’ll save some time. She will give you a very warm welcome and you will need to go through all of the dialogue. It is a pretty interesting one because you’ll need to play along with the lines she gives you.
After having finished the dialogue the quest line will officially start!
Head to the Angel’s Share
This is a starting quest where you’ll have to make your way to the tavern of Angel’s Share. It will be located in the same town as you were from before.
Also, get ready for a very long cut scene and dialogue sequence. They will be talking about tons of information and also music will be played. You will get an item as a gift and an opportunity to go over to the new area where you’ll be finishing this quest.
While in the Tavern you’ll go around and invite people to come with you to the islands. After all of the cut-scenes have been finished, you’ll have to wait for the right time to go to the new area. You’ll have to come back here the next morning somewhere from 08:00 to 10:00 o`clock. The easy way is to open the Menu and go under Time. Then just fast forward the time.
Now after this just go for the gate. Here you’ll have yet another big talking sequence that you’ll have to go through.
Go To The Location Paimon Mentioned
This is where the next chapter of this big quest line begins. You’ll have to walk outside of the city and into the grass field shown on your map. There will be yet another talking sequence but after this, you’ll finally be heading to the Islands. At last!
This is your vehicle for traveling to the Islands. Looks amazing, doesn’t it? There will be yet another long talking sequence when you enter the islands. It is going on about the story of the islands and how Fischl introduces you to everything around it and the impurities of the soul.
And walla! After all that talking, you’re finally at the Islands and you’re free to explore these magical amazing lands.
Go To The Island Kazuha Mentioned
You’re in the Islands at last! When you open the map you’ll see that a big portion of it is completely blank and dark. This is because you haven’t explored it yet. No matter what you’ll be doing, you will need to locate these structures next to the shoreline. You will walk up to them and Summon a Waverider. A waverider is the boat that you’ll be using a lot. I mean it is an island’s map surrounded by water. So go looking around for them and unlock the waypoints so you’ll have quick access to boats when needed.

Use Elemental Sight to follow the traces
This is once you get to the weird-looking machine that Kazuha will comment about. You will have to use your Elemental Sight to look around for clues and investigate everything there is to be known about this area. Follow the yellow circles on your mini-map to get to your target.

Return to Camp
It will be a pretty long and very interesting and unique talking sequence where you’ll be meeting with the main characters from the Island. But once it’s finished you’ll have to head back to the camp.
You’ll go all the way back from where you started this adventure. This is going to be in the center of that small little island.
There will be a long talking sequence again but at the end, you’ll be needing to meet Venti in a less conspicuous place.
Go to the place as shown on the map and you’ll be seeing Venti and talking to the small little floating ball. Once you have done this, the quest will be finished. Congratulations on finishing this very fun and interesting Islands storyline!
