In Broken Isle, upon talking with the Mirror Maiden, she will give you a quest to find the Misplaced Photo. This quest has 3 parts where you need to find a missing member as well as open a cave. Here is a guide to complete this quest!
The Misplaced Photo Guide – Genshin Impact
First Part
To trigger this quest, you need to be in Broken Isle and speak to the Mirror Maiden (she is on the southeast part of the small island in Broken Isle, by the beach).
Once you exhaust her dialog, head towards the south part of the island and investigate a flame there (by the hilicurl camp).
Pick up the Silver Pocket Watch and bring it back to the Mirror Maiden.
Second Part
Upon giving the watch, the Maiden will mark a quest area. Head there and talk to her again. You will then be prompted to do a puzzle to open the cave which imprisoned one of her members.
To unseal the vine, you simply need to align the harmony amplifier towards to cave. Follow the amplifier to reach the main Instrument, once everything is aligned, play the instrument and watch her reunite with Zakhar.
Third Part
This final part of the quest takes place in Minacious Isle. Head there by porting to the waypoint. In Minacious Isle, right to the east of the Waypoint porter, find the second pond of puddle that says “Place in Water” (near the ruined arc). This will port you to the other side of the island.
Once there, head south to the biggest stone cliff with the most tree branch. Follow the quest marker.
Upon reaching the cliff, climb to the very top of the cliff by wall-climbing your way up there. Alternatively, you can use Anemo Flower on your base to reach its top.
Cross some tree branches, and you will find the other group member stuck on top of the cliff. Talk to him and you get the reward of the quest loot.
